I've been taking my dogs to Animal Clinic South for years. They have been nothing but kind, caring, and compassionate. They truly love what they do and I have never had a negative experience here. I'll keep bringing my pups here for as long as I can.

I absolutely LOVE Animal Clinic South. When I moved to the area I needed a new vet for my 12 yr old little lady, and after reading reviews for several places I chose this one. The entire staff are always so kind and helpful. Dr. Theobald has been fantastic and so patient with our cranky, anxious, and snappy senior as well our newest addition, a highly energetic and high strung pom. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a vet for their pet's routine care. 10/10!

My review may be a little length but I feel as if my story may open individuals eyes to realize what a amazing place this is, especially those that are looking for a vet. First off, I can’t be more happier with Animal Clinic South and very thankful for Dr. Theobald, who saved my dogs life. My little 5 year old Maltese had a lung lobe torsion and had to have a serious surgery at mizzou. Once he had the surgery he was still very sick and many of the doctors didn’t want to take him in because of the condition he was in. After many hospital visits with no answers or help and google search’s, I finally came across Animal Clinic South. When other vets had no hope for my little one to survive and give him the proper care he needed, Dr. Theobald was there every step of the way. Other doctors wanted to do biopsy and pre-long the process especially with covid and appointment being months out, he couldn’t wait that long because each day his protein level went down and he kept getting more weak. Dr. Theobald however took a different approach and gave him immediate care he needed. He immediately had a ultra-sound done instead of a biopsy (that would of taken days for results/ put him through more pain) and was able to determine both his condition and the right medicine/food he should be on. If it wasn’t for Dr. Theobald and his experience/knowledge my dog may have not survived and if I listened to the other doctors. Point being is we need more doctors like Dr. Theobald, ones that take action right away to save our fur babies life.

I adopted my cat, Bean, last year before the pandemic and brought her here for her 1st check up and 1st round of shots. She had an ear infection and they got her some ear drops. A couple weeks later she had an UTI (common in female cats). And today was her second annual wellness/ vaccinations visit. Everytime we had to bring her in the staff and Drs took good care of my sweet girl. They were helpful in teaching me tricks to help get her to take her medicine for her UTI and how to properly inject the ear drops in her ears. Everytime I felt welcomed and confident in the care my Bean would receive.
