Wow, Herb and his team were phenomenal to work with!! When I first met with Herb, I had a very loose idea of my floral setup. After talking with him for a matter of minutes, he was able to put together a vision board that was PERFECT! He is also a wealth of wedding vendor knowledge, and gave me wonderful suggestions for cake vendors and bands during our intro meeting. Fast forward many months, and we had to make a last minute venue change due to COVID. Herb was extremely understanding and accommodating when we needed to pivot to a completely different setup. It was such a pleasure having him as one of my vendors because I knew I was in good hands the whole time. From the church flowers to our bouquets, everything at the ceremony was beautiful! I remember walking into my reception at The Moore and instantly thought how gorgeous him and his team made the evening. I still receive compliments from guests on how much they loved the flowers for my wedding, and it's all thanks to Herb and his team!!
Herb is such a fun, creative, and professional personality to work with! Among a literal sea of New Orleans wedding vendors, it can be hard to figure out which businesses are best to work when you're not a local. Herb's shop is one of those special few! He's been doing floral design there for years and knows so many other people in the local industry, so in addition to AMAZING flowers you also gain the benefit of helpful, honest advice while navigating a destination wedding. His proposal for our wedding is spot-on the vision I had, and we worked together to finesse it to perfection over just a few drafts (and had a lot fun doing it!). The effort he's put into the collaboration process is even more appreciated since my wedding isn't until Oct 2022 and he's been working diligently with other couples that are currently rescheduling due to COVID. His communication is always timely and genuine, never making me feel like I was just one of the many people that he talks to everyday. If you're thinking of reaching out to him & his team, just do it - you will NOT regret it!
The team over at Herbivore did an amazing job for us and really helped our wedding look beautiful. During a COVID wedding, they were very accommodating of the multiple changes in plans that occurred as we significantly reduced the size of our wedding over the year. They communicated with us well and the big day went off without any issue. Even better, the arrangements were beautiful and were a big hit in the photos that were taken. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for both a great team to work with and absolute top notch quality product.
Herb is a true artist, but he also knows how to use his talent to bring your exact vision to life.nnHerb designed our bouquets and boutonnières, centerpieces, and drapes flowers and greenery in places throughout our venue that needed a touch of beauty. It was all absolutely stunning. I asked for a cloud of babies breath and he delivered.nnHerb loves a challenge, loves to have fun, and will make your special day even more memorable with his masterful floral designs!
