It was a horrible day for my dog. I decided by 9pm that it wasn't getting any better. My dog was so lethargic that he could barely stand. He had not eaten anything and barely drank any water. By the time I called this place, I had already called two other places closer to home, one that was closed and one that couldn't take my dog because they were at capacity. When I called MedVet, I was worried for my dog and the person who answered the phone listened to my concerns and then went to ask the vet if, base on the description of health, if I should come or stay home and wait it out. They quickly advised for the dogs sake, that I bring him right away. When I arrived, a person came to meet me at my car and ended up having to carry my dog inside, as he was so unwell that he couldn't even walk at this point. After about 30 minutes or so, the Vet called me to tell me with the plan and sent me an itemized list of expenses, which was expected. X-rays, IV medications, and they decided to keep him over night for observation and repeat tests, which they explained in detail over the phone and sent me yet another expense list for me to approve and give a credit card for. Through it all the Vet(s) who called me were professional and shared a deep sense of concern for my pet. In the morning, I had already received 2 missed calls from the vet before I even woke up. After I received some rather horrifying news and I had to make a decision, the vet gave me honest feedback and even went above and beyond to explain a second time to my friend who was also a vet, so that I could better understand this news. After talking me through, there was a strong belief that my dog had cancer and that his current state would need surgery and quickly, including blood transfusions because he was anemic and seemed to be bleeding internally because of a ruptured growth on his spleen. They said they could remove his spleen but if it was cancer that it wouldn't be but a delay to his inevitable fate. We decided with this information we should put him down and for him to not to suffer through a surgery and maybe only recover to have 4-6 weeks of life left. Sobbing through it all, it was the hardest news I had heard in a while and a decision we did not take lightly. Sobbing the entire way, I drove in to put my sweet boy to sleep. The vet assistants met me at the door and brought me into a room, where I was reunited with my buddy for the last time. They gave me all the time I needed to wait for my family and to spend time loving on my pet before they came in and explained to me about the process and then told me to say one last good bye. It was heart breaking as anyone could imagine, but quick and painless for my pet. All the people at the Vet office were incredible with my pet and respectful of my loss. They came to carry him out and were gentle with him and respectful. They discussed with me over the phone about receiving his ashes in about a week. All was with the utmost care and I really could not have worked with a better team of vets for the last day of my pets life. Its hard to talk about it but I figured, it was the least I could do after they helped me find peace and closure with my pet. I would definitely recommend.

Our dog was exhibiting serious symptoms and our vet said to bring him to an emergency clinic.nnWas it expensive? Yes. That’s how it is. They do take Care Credit if needed.nnBut what really impressed me was how quickly they got our dog seen. The vet and the staff called throughout the day with updates and provided a thorough explanation in regards to his diagnostic tests. Everyone I spoke to was professional and kind. I appreciate how Dr. Pall took time to talk to me to go over everything. We were on the phone for almost 15 minutes in the middle of what I’m sure was a busy day on their end.nnThings are hectic during COVID but I appreciate how this office is working through it. Our dog is fine now and although my credit card is sad, it’s a small price to pay for peace of mind.nnShould any future emergencies come about, we will come here. Thank you all for what you do.

had a medical emergency and an emergency surgery done for my dog, one of the worst days of my life. I’ve never gone to this hospital, I just needed something fast. The service was amazing! They helped me so much, they were so kind as well. Very reassuring, very comforting staff. Thank you so much.

Excellent staff, skilled surgeons and techs. Our baby needed knee surgery and they all treated him superbly. We are extremely grateful.
