This place is amazing. Or regular vet couldn't get our girl in for an emergency. Blue ridge got her in same day and we're wonderful. The staff was so kind and friendly. I really appreciated them. Will be going to them for now on

I called Thursday evening about my fur baby. The staff was very polite and concerned about his well being and was able to see him ASAP. Harley is almost 15, blind, death and could not walk. The vet tech came out and carried Harley in as if he was her own pet. He was diagnosed and I was immediately called while waiting in my vehicle. The doctor was very in detailed about explaining his condition, long word but he has “dog vertigo “. He was carried back to my vehicle and later in his cozy make shift bed. The quality and reliability was so appreciated. I have been going to Blue Ridge Vet for over 5 years. I highly recommend them for ALL you get needs. Very compassionate pet lovers.

Had an emergency with my snake and they were super fast and friendly. I live about an hour away and will continue to use them in the future.nnWould recommend for exotic care.

I’ve taken 3 of my rats to get neutered here. Two of my boys did really well with surgery and the post op recovery. However my rat Moose who I got neutered more recently had post op complications because he would not leave his area alone and it got infected. He ended up having to get another surgery and put a tube in him. Which he took out because he is stubborn. I thought i would have to put him down because the infection was so bad and another vet I took him to said it would be 2000 dollars to help him. This veterinarian clinic is very affordable and does a great job. The staff is very nice and also always follows up a day after. The only criticisms I have is that the receptionist scheduled my rat neuter on a day there wasn’t any exotic vet. And lastly, I do not think that 3 syringes of metecam isn’t enough for a rat neuter. Out the 3 that got neutered 2 messed with their incision. Although now I will now put a wrap on my rats if I ever get anymore rats neutered. Just because rats are more likely to chew on their incision then other small animals. I’m really thankful for the care Moose received and that’s why I’m giving 5 stars. I will be coming back if I have any concerns for Moose or any of my other rats.

All of my favorite friends...past and present (yes animals:)) have been taken care of above and beyond by Blue Ridge Veterinary over the years. Some have been very ill and needed hospitalized, the most recent being Rasta Pasta who was not expected to live. We did not give up on her and now Rasta Pasta is a healthy happy and most loved addition to our furry family. The older cats all love the kitten and so does the dog Marley! I can not say enough about Blue Ridge veterinary.
