I have been to this animal hospital a few times they have always been very clean knowledgeable and professional. The Asian Woman veterinarian actually save my dogs life my dog wasn’t feeling well and not eating for a day or two she took one look at her felt around her uterus and discovered she had a pyometra which was an infected uterus. I went to tufts for surgery in a few days later she was back to normal. I know I’ll bring opal there for a regular check ups and any issues.

We switched vets and started going to VCA Abbott about 18 months ago. We have 2 senior cats. I truly cannot say enough positive things about the providers and staff. Every vet I interact with is as attentive as the last. Before our most recent visit our cat got sick in the carrier. They cleaned her, removed the soiled carrier covering and gave her a clean blanket to go home with. Their actions show they care.

I have taken my dogs to the Worcester location for years. I have always received quality service until this year. The vets here are always great, they are not the problem. The problem lies with whoever is in charge of running the front office and all administrative areas of the practice. My dog was bleeding and it could have been an emergency situation, he needed to see the vet to rule out an emergency. I called Abbott VCA promptly at 7:45 am to get one of their emergency appointment, they said they would call me back. At 10am I called them back and demanded an appointment that day. He was seen. A couple of weeks ago I needed a prescription refill. I called on a Wednesday for the refill. I did not hear from the VCA by closing on Wednesday so I called first thing Thursday morning. I was told on the phone they were working on the prescription and I would receive a call when it was completed. I never received a call so I called them at 5:15pm on Thursday only to be told by the woman on the other end of the phone that his prescription had been filled and was ready. I was upset and asked them if they had any intention of calling me seeing as how they close at 6pm? I receive no reply besides sorry. Last week I called and payed for my dogs prescription dog food over the phone. I went down to pick it up and waited 30 minutes in their parking lot and 2 phone calls later to have them walk out the case of dog food I purchased. The quality of care has gone way down hill. Again, I have no problem with the vets it is everyone else. They do not appear to care about the health and well-being of my animal. I do not know what has happened and why services have gone from good to beyond terrible. It is as if they only care about the quantity of animals that walk or are carried through their doors versus the quality and that is sad. I will give them one more chance and if they cannot prove to me that they care about my animal I will find another vet. I will do for my little buddy what I would do for myself if I had a doctor's office neglecting my needs. At this point in time I do not recommend Abbott Animal Hospital to anyone. They cannot provide the most basic of services, even throwing 30 pills into a pill bottle or walking out a case of dog food without a 1/2 hour wait time. I leave one star only because the vets who work at this practice deserve a star, they do care. I suggest the front office do some house cleaning and get their act together sooner rather than later, I know for a fact I am not the only one unsatisfied with their level of care this past year.

I was very happy they agreed to squeeze my pet in last minute. They were kind and attentive. My cat likely needed follow up, the provider knew he would be out of state and said to call by the weekend if things were not better. Well things got worse and we called and were told we could not have the additional meds unless we brought him in and she knew we could not because we were away. Even when we told him we would bring him to his regular out of state vet on Monday they wouldn't help. Not to mention we waited all day for them to call us back with an answer about what they could do to help and they never called we had to call 5 minutes before they closed to find out the doctor had put in notes and no one called us
