I highly recommend CR Lyons & Sons Funeral Home in Danvers. Someone is available to answer your questions compassionately 24 hours a day during a difficult time. The Funeral Home is peaceful and beautiful, and it gave us comfort to know that our loved one was treated with dignity and respect. They offer online grief support to those who want it. I cannot say enough about my high regard for CR Lyons & Sons.
I have been to many funeral services at C.R Lyons and Sons that when my dad passed away in May, we didn’t think twice about having C.R take care of our arrangements. CR and Amanda went above and beyond for our family. They made our visitors feel safe during this time of grief and a pandemic. They are always extremely professional and sympathetic and honored some last minute decisions or changes. We had Lyons handle the cremation service for my mother, and I was so appreciative of the entire staff. Amanda, C.R., Ron, Mary Beth, and everyone I dealt with was kind and helpful. They explained our options to us when we pre-planned, which made it easier after mom passed away. They handled her gently and carefully when they took her from the house and added thoughtful touches to the ceremony. We are forever grateful.
What a wonderful experience. The Lyons family treated us with great care and compassion from the moment we notified them of dad's passing. CR, Amanda and their amazing staff were able to accommodate all of our special requests, while taking care of the many details we would have forgotten about during the visitation and funeral service. They warmly welcomed us into their beautiful and comfortable home, holding our hands the entire way. We are forever thankful.
I would give 6 stars if allowed. The recent passing of our dad was handled with such care and understanding by their staff that I would say it was flawless! Especially when I was so far away to make these arrangements via phone and internet. They have it all together!
