Manhattan is the most densely populated of New York City’s 5 boroughs. It's mostly made up of Manhattan Island, bounded by the Hudson, East and Harlem rivers. Among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers, it’s the heart of “the Big Apple.” Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building, neon-lit Times Square and the theaters of Broadway. ― Google

It's a nice bridge, what is there to hate about it. The constant construction to improve the quality of the bridge is fantastic.

“I ain’t never seen two pretty best friends.” This bridge, in my personal opinion would absolutely be the less prettier of the two, but it has its merits in so many different ways.nnI love the cold and metal comparison of this bridge to its sister bridge next to it. There’s something more powerful and calculated about this one. It shows strength and the industry of Manhattan as for the other bridge shows the classic culture and artistic history of Brooklyn.nnI would compare both of them also to the left and right sides of the brain. Both very drastically different but working together to unify the city. Brooklyn and Manhattan, the boroughs, wouldn’t be what they are unless they had the relationship they do. So to have that personified through something as timeless as monumental bridges is just too perfect to describe that unique relationship.

A nice walk with stunning view of the bridges, city, and the Manhattan skyline. It is even fun for a young track fan as there are 4 trains (N,Q,B,D) passing by (so non track fans be prepared for loud noise). The Manhattan side is right by Chinatown at the intersection of Canal Street and Bowery Street. The Brooklyn side is next to Dumbo. It's close to the Brooklyn bridge at the Brooklyn side so if you want want to walk two bridges in one day you should start from Manhattan side and make a loop trip. There are Citi bike locations at both sides so biking could be considered.

This is my favorite bridge in NYC. Everyone loves the Brooklyn Bridge but the Manhattan Bridge has much better photo opportunities.
