Excellent veterinarian. I’m new to the area, and had a sudden medical emergency with my cat, who is an emotional support animal. I tried contacting a few other places but nowhere would see her without a first pet appointment which would be weeks out in scheduling. Hartsdale Veterinary Hospital made an appointment for my cat the very next day and they were extremely helpful. The people at the front desk were kind and helped me fill out new pet paperwork quickly. The doctor was very informative and knowledgeable and gave her the proper treatment that was needed. Being a college student I was worried about pricing, but was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable and affordable the bill was considering they fit my cat in so quickly without having seen her before and gave her an exam/medications. I will continue to use this clinic and I would recommend to any pet owner! Thank you so much!
We have been going to Dr. Thayer for the last four years. He's very caring, thorough, and makes you feel at ease. The entire staff is wonderful! I would highly recommend going here. It's convenient if you live in the area.
Really lovely experience - our otherwise healthy and young cat suddenly stopped eating and went without food for a couple of days. They were able to fit us in at short notice and we received regular, detailed updates on test results etc. Thankfully he is all ok now. Very pleasant and caring Dr and staff, felt very comfortable our pet was being well taken care of.
HVH is great. I can be quite the neurotic pet owner but Dr. Thayer is always available t0 answer all my questions and detail every treatment plan. Ashley always has a smile on her face and caters to anything I need above and beyond. They have a new tech Mike who is outstanding! super informative, caring and also greets with a smile :-) I know my fur family (and I have a big one) is in great hands with HVH.
One thing I really appreciate about Hartsdale Veterinary Hospital is that the office is run well, even before COVID you were never sitting around waiting for long for your appointment, there is one doctor and a few technicians so you feel like you are part of a small, well-run house. I appreciate their warmth, their caring attitude toward the animals, I feel good dropping off Ted or Dave, knowing they will be treated so well. Real human beings, in the best sense of the phrase. Thanks.
