Garden State Veterinary Services

I have been here few weeks in a raw and there is always a very long waiting time. My puppy broke one of her paw and ever since the first time the waiting was long, not as bad as today where I am here for more than 3 hours and nothing yet. I understand that there can be emergencies or cases that need more attention than mine but I consider that because they are so busy with emergencies they should hire other doctors or find the way to reduce the waiting time. Every week I come to change her bandage until she is fully healed but because of the case I cannot schedule an appointment so I need to make sure I have nothing else going on the day of the visit because otherwise it is not going to work. I give a 3 because regardless of the waiting time the staff is nice and the treatment to my puppy was also good.

I was very surprised to find the manager at an animal emergency center to have NO compassion at all.nnWhen I asked to come inside for my dogs exam because he was just attacked by another dog at the park, the manager was cold and heartless. After telling me the policy, she told me that if I had a problem I could refuse services and leave.nnI understand the policy but there's no reason to give that type of tone and attitude to a concerned pet owner. Obviously I had no other choice and could not refuse services and leave like this is a restaurant. It's an emergency, that's why we are here.nnThe doctor was really great and that's the only reason I'm giving it one star.nAnd for an emergency center, they are slow as can be. The wait is at least 40 minutes.nnI guess the manager knows as I know now, that people who come here have no other choice but to wait and deal with rude cold heartless attitudes.

My cat was in a lot of pain, he wasn't eating, was hiding, and crying a lot. We brought him here and they were able to figure out the problem right away. He's all good now, but he will need to be on prescription food for the rest of his life.nStaff & doctors were great!

We had the most amazing experience. Unfortunately it was a sad night for us but Dr B and her staff were so compassionate and caring. We had to tt our beloved Cooper to sleep. The Dr tried everything she could and let us sit in our car and make this tough decision. Without the love we received from all we wouldn’t have gotten through it. Thank you again and your handwritten note of condolences was so very thoughtful. I have Cooper’s paw print on my table and it touches my heart. ❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f

Sadly, my husband and I had to put our 18 year old cat to sleep in the middle of the night a week ago. Dr. Seeds was so thorough, kind, and compassionate throughout it, as was the entire staff. We were allowed to come in and spend as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes to him and be there to comfort him as he passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you, Dr. Seeds, from the bottom of my heart, for being so kind during such a sad time.
