I do not recommend this business to any pet owner looking for accurate and affordable care. I brought my puppy to this location for an appointment for shots and to check a skin condition. Not only did the vet state that my dog had a serious skin infection but proceeded to overcharge all shots and medication. These prices were outrageous as the following vet I booked an appointment with were hundreds of dollars cheaper. Pennington Vet overcharged me 500%.nnIn addition, my dog did not have a skin infection but a typical puppy rash that could be cleared up with inexpensive medication and diet change.nnPlease avoid using this location at all costs.

A little pricey but very kind and knowledgeable staff. They helped my dog when 2 other vets had no idea what was going on. She is much happier and back to her playful self!

After waiting close to 30 mins for my scheduled appointment I was told that it was a week too early for the booster shot required. I asked multiple times to speak to the vet since it was her that scheduled the appointment at this time, I was told by the nurse that I could just call the vet directly next week. Instead of apologizing for the error (and the wasted time off from work and stress to my cat) they suggested that “if I wanted they could give the shot but it wouldn’t absorb”.

In recent months our aging dog has required much more attention. Unfortunately this practice has been less than responsive with timely communication - call backs and insurance processing. We decided to switch to another vet in Hamilton; transferring records has taken too long (over one week). Fees, responsiveness, and attention to our dog’s symptoms are so much better at our new provider. Sorry this team has let us down.

After 15 years of bringing our Reese (dog) here, we have always trusted them here with his medical care. Recently, Reese suffered a massive seizure, went blind, partially deaf, his whole left side lame....our hearts broken, unfortunately, it was time for him to go on ahead or suffer. We cannot thank Pennington Veterinary Clinic for their thoughtful handling and support of Reese and us from beginning to end, nearly crying with us. They were very, very, very compassionate and guided us with love as if he were their own...which they were in fact having been caring for him from near birth to death. Thank you so, so much Pennington Vet. Words are not enough to express our gratitude.
