We experienced sudden unexpected loss of our father that is extremely devastating & we are still in shock. I am forever grateful Ms. Kathryn at Lakes Crematory has helped with the entire process. She is patient, kind, loving & compassionate. Her empathy, encouraging words & understanding is so heart warming & very much needed in moments of the worst grief & sorrow. She treats us like family. When we are faced with the inevitable of losing a loved one, we are also faced with every single emotion known to man. We struggle with the idea of will my loved one be treated with respect, dignity and compassion? We have to put our trust into someone to carry out those final wishes for them. We want someone to listen to our stories about them, care for them as we did, and give them the respect they deserved. I can tell you personally that EVERYONE at Lakes Crematory fulfilled my wishes, my highest of expectations and made me feel stronger and more confident knowing my loved one was in the best of hands. Your heart will know the moment you walk in and talk to someone that they are here for you, and will guide you in a way that is not overbearing, pushy or excessive. Loosing a pet is such a stressful experience. The staff at Lakes were all professional, courteous and understanding beyond what we could have ever expected. They treated us with compassion and kindness. Truly appreciated all that they did to help in a very tough situation.
