This clinic is excellent. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and capable staff is important in any vet clinic, especially an emergency clinic! I felt that my pet was in good hands the entire time, and they clearly explained options and outlooks for treatment plans. On top of their great care and bedside manner, they practiced responsible Covid-19 distancing too.

If I could give this place zeros, I would but that’s not an option. I will NEVER bring my pets here again. It was the worst experience of my life leaving me feel guilty because I couldn’t provide the proper care for my beloved therapy dog. The doctor absolutely had no sympathy, I at least had 2 techs that did more then the doctor. If it wasn’t for this place in guilting tripping me my dog would still be here. All this place wants is money, they told me the care for my dog would be anywhere from 4-6k. How does one have such to put up front in the first place is beyond me. When I told them I didn’t have the money they asked me, “well how much can you afford?” Like are you serious?? Then when I was trying to find the funds, they called me and said my dog was having a seizure in the back have I made the decision? Which only made the situation worse and I felt rushed to make a split decision. When I said that I can’t afford this large expense and I asked what are the chances of him surviving through the night? I also questioned if it was better off letting him go. The doctor said it didn’t have a great chance of making it. Like WHaT?!?! You’re going to make me spend all this money when you know my dog isn’t going to make it!?! I was so angry! I had no choice and having to put my dog down, even with that it still cost about 1k to put him down. Now I carry this guilt with me forever. I don’t ever leave bad reviews or even right reviews in the first place but this place and doctor that cared for my dog just rubbed me the wrong way. If it wasn’t for this place my dog would still be with me today. I don’t recommend this place to bring your pets for emergency care.

BluePearl absolutely fascinated me with their efficiency and dedication to prepping the proper care for my fourth month old adorable and sweet kitten named Rue when her incision from recently being spayed became infected. Mind you, I’ve only had her for five days. They took her in immediately and shortly after her examination both the vet tech and doctor thoroughly explained the prognosis and expectations of her discharge by painting a very clear picture of what to expect in my at home care for Rue over the next 10 days. Also, the process honestly took only 45 minutes! I know that timing will vary per pet and case, but like I said, they were extremely efficient. I literally could care less if the exam fee was $140 or if other previous reviews considered the visit to be too expensive. It likes being a human and going to the hospital vs. a clinic or primary care doctor... simply expect to pay more for your copay or out of pocket expense!nnOverall, I’m extremely pleased with my experience at BluePearl. I can now spend the next 10-14 days treating my kitty with an absolute strong peace of mind that she will be a-okay soon.nnThank you so much, BluePearl! When my dog was attacked and in need of emergency help Blue Pearl were amazing.nnWhen other vets in the city couldn't see her for 5+ hours I drove to Skokie and was so glad I did! The team were so warm and attentive to my dog, and super empathetic towards me.nnMy dogs stitches came out perfectly and she since has shown no trauma around the vet visit.nnWould definitely recommend!

Would never return. Took my dog who could not walk, wasn’t eating, and was crying all the time with pain here because our vet appointment was a week away. They gave her a 15 minute check up, charged $600 and gave her nothing but some pain pills and joint meds. They did offer to “explore further” for another $1000, however. Took her to our normal vet for our next appointment and they said “I cannot believe they did not see this growth on her shoulder.” We had to put her down just a few weeks after due to the cancer in her body.
