What a class act. Kind and professional service from beginning to end . Everything is well thought-out and you dont have to worry about anything. I cant thank them enough for all their services.

I spent five months trying to get a contract to pre-arrange funeral services - I finally gave up! I contacted another funeral home in Pittsfield on Maplewood Ave and had the contract within a few days. The funeral arrangements with the second funeral home were handled flawlessly and I am so glad I made the change. Most definitely do not recommend using Dwyers. Note: Dwyers has purchased Wellington funeral homes so I would avoid using them as well.nnThe initial paperwork from Dwyer's had errors in it, some from a sloppy job of cut and paste from another contract. I had to repeatedly call back to get it corrected and was repeatedly told that the paperwork would be sent. I did not feel valued as a customer and finally realized that if Dwyer's cared so little about setting up the contract that arranging any plans with them would also be difficult.

Back in February of this year my father was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. I have contacted Dwyers Funeral Home to discuss our options for when my Father passes. I spoke to Carmine the owner and explained our situation who I was. Carmine was very sympathetic and understanding. It was a lot to take in the Carmine told me to go back to Florida discuss it with my family when I was ready to call back and he would take care of me. Fortunately I met I learned my father was losing his battle what the cancer. I decided to driving from Florida to be with him on his last days. When I arrived I contacted Dwyer’s Funeral Home Carmine remembered me right off the bat. I explained the time was coming it wasn’t going to be long. Carmi told me to come in and see him or his son Michael. The same day I went and I met with Michael Carmine son. Michael had the same sense of respect, antipathy, and professionalism as his Father Carmine displayed. The arrangements were made and everything was taken care of. On May 19th the worst day of my life my father lost his battle. I call Dwyer’s to let them know my father had just passed. Everything from that point was handled as if my father was a part of their family or as they were our family. The amount up respect, sympathy, and care that was displayed was amazing. That Saturday came the day of the week when I arrived at the funeral home I was met with Carmine and Caitlin. They had everything in order I’m ready to go. They were so accommodating and kind it really made the worst day of my life a little better. My father looked amazing they did a wonderful job I’m presenting him. And Caitlin went above and beyond to assist, help, and be there for me with whatever I needed. She showed so much compassion and sympathy it was as if she lost one of her own family members. I cannot express the gratitude in appreciation and respect that I have for Dwyer’s Michael’s Funeral Home. They really helped getting me through the worst week of my life. I started trying to preplan my cremation about 2 1/2 months ago. I phoned 4-5 times without result, but finally Chad came to see me at my nusing home. He took my check and I signed a check but it remained uncashed for more than 2 months. After 14 phone calls, I want my money back!! If I can actually get it.

Truly outstanding personnel, service and facilities. My Mother-in-law recently passed away in Florida and was interred in Pittsfield. The entire process from death to burial was handled by Dwyer Funeral Home in the most competent, personal and professional manner. My highest recommendation.
