My family and I just returned home from attending my mother's funeral service. My father, brothers and I couldn't have been more pleased with the attention, care and compassion we experienced while making arrangements for my mother's service. Ed Mercer and Bea were outstanding and we highly recommend them. They are attentive to every detail and are highly professional and conscientious. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you!!

He gave suggestions but let us choose what was best suited for us. My family was so pleased with the results during this stressful time. Allen Stapleton recently handled the arrangements for my father. He was wonderful throughout the entire process. Even though I called after hours, Allen responded immediately. Due to the current situation, and because I live out of the area, he was very compassionate and accommodating. We were able to handle almost everything over the phone and internet. Planning my mother’s funeral is one of the hardest things I feel I will ever have to do. With my mother in hospice, I could not bring myself to do serious planning. When it became clear that my mother was going to pass soon, I called a couple of places. The first place I called had me felling rushed and uncomfortable. Politely expressing at this point I was just checking funeral homes.nCalled Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory and spoke to Allen Stapleton. He was kind and compassionate and could answer any question presented. He could not have been nicer or more patient. Crying the whole time, completely disorganized and unprepared, but he said, “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of everything.” And he did.nHaving my mother taken care of by Mr. Stapleton like that was, and continues to be, immeasurably comforting to me.nMothers service conducted with high dignity and respect. Allen stayed by my family’s side from the time taking her from our home until laying here beside my father. Mother looked like the angel she was; thanks to him.nMr. Stapleton has the perfect blend of professionalism and personal care. I do not know of single detail he overlooked.nThe whole experience was more like having someone in our family handle it than a “funeral home.” It felt personal.
