Doing business with Simplified Funeral Solutions started off fine, they were caring, kind and attentive to needs and requests of the family. First sign of trouble came when the funeral hand outs had the wrong date of birth, this lead to trouble down the road with the death certificate. My father passed the end of Sept 2020, we are still waiting on the corrected copy from the state. Blame was shuffled back and forth from both parties with the family stuck in the middle trying to get the corrected death certificate. Many unreturned phone calls and we are still waiting...... We are also being told that since the death certificate was mishandled that we need to contact the VA about the head stone, it was submitted but we needed to make the call to the VA. It seems to me that since this was part of the package the family shouldn't be the ones doing leg work and making calls, this is part of the service that was paid for. Wendy has failed to return call after call leaving the bad news to come from her office staff who is stuck in the middle.
They lady's made sure to make everyone happy with greeting cards and the way to the cemetery they made sure we all stayed together on the travel and every request was fulfilled. Very pleased and very affordable. Thank you simplify.
