I realize that funeral homes are in the business of making tough times easier on people that have suffered a loss. All of the employees at Hutchens-Stygar went so far beyond my expectations I felt I needed to write this review. Three employees in particular need to be recognized. The gentleman named Tim Brahan, was very caring and respectful on the night of our loss. Our director Corey who, also caring and respectful, always answered his phone and offered great advice and direction, along with true compassion. And lastly Michelle, who on her own time, took steps to make sure our family had chance to have a lasting memory of our loved one. Its difficult to put into words how all these people helped us. I want them to know how much all their actions mean to our family. Thank-you!!!

Kim Thornton was wonderful. She was very professional yet compassionate. She made what is typically an awful experience a little bit easier to handle. The minister chosen was an excellent choice and didn't try to act like he knew my father personally. All paperwork has been handled and processed efficiently making it much easier for my family to deal with. I would highly recommend Hutchens-Stygar, and Kim Thornton, for your needs.

I would highly recommend this place. I reached out to multiple funeral homes and this one was by far the easiest to work with. They made a hard process quite easy, were very responsive, very competitive pricing, and didn't pressure any additional sales. You could tell they were sincere in our loss and were quite understanding. Extremely satisfied with our family's decision.nnThank you to the staff who made a difficult time as painless as possible.

Hutchens was very friendly and respectful during our time of need. They did a great job.

I’d like to say, at first they were nice people, I had my father buried early November 2017 and had paid more than half of the Money up front. Later that month I was in a horrible motorcycle accident, I tore my aorta completely from my heart, 2 strokes, 2 aneurysms, and the hospital cut open my skull because it was swelling. Now until two months ago I could barely walk. Now I have a court ordered appearance, for August, I’ve tried to contact Mr Hutchins and left messages. Granted they didn’t try to pull me from the hospital and they understood I had been in a wreck, but if they were like family how could they drag a crippled man to court. I left so many messages trying to handle this personaly. I’m at a loss for words.
