I would recommend Dr. Blackburn to anyone in the Springfield area. My dog is a big, nervous baby but Dr. Blackburn puts him at ease and works great with him. Dr. Blackburn is a straight-shooter, but is an incredibly positive person. Also, his staff is phenomenal - they always remember my dog even when it's been 6 mos to a year between visits. I would strongly suggest you use this vet if in the Springfield, MO area!
I went to another vet to have a cat neutered because it was closer. It was not a good experience for me or my cat. I trust Dr. Blackburn and his staff to provide quality compassionate care for my pets.nAlso Dr. Blackburn places an emphasis on educating pet owners. He's a great teacher.
Every person we had contact with were all nice and polite. We were able to make a same day appointment for a new patient and were in and out in about 30 minutes. They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and we felt very comfortable with everything.
Great vet office. Been going there for 25 years.
