Our senior dog was struggling with skin and eye issues. Dr. Elisabeth McCartney gave her a very thorough examination and provided well thought out options as to how we could move forward and give our pup relief. We really appreciated her expertise and the fact that she followed up by sending us an e-mail after the appointment to let us know how we can save money on a medication going forward (Apoquel Rewards Program). We would definitely recommend Dr. McCartney and Barnstable Animal Hospital.
My 4 year old cat got violently ill. I called and left a message at 5am in morning . Melissa called me back at 7:50am. She told me to bring her right in. Dr. Mccarthy treated her and called me every step of the way, I.e treatment, billing. The staff there was very knowledgeable and comforting. They are the best!
I will never use this hospital again .They gave me an estimate, then charged me double at the end of the visit, without letting me know or discussing with me the extra cost. They were not compassionate toward me or my dying catnI found it very difficult to contact the doctor to discuss further treatment. In the end I had to put my animal down but I went to a much more compassionate place.
The doctors and employees are very nice and friendly. They take good care of you and your furbabies!!
I am a new client, I absolutely love Barnstable Animal Hospital. I felt very welcome and cared for as I had a few concerns about my new kitten. They always answer the phone very professionally and compassionately. Affordable, reliable, and overall a place I trust to drop my pet off especially during these uncertain COVID times. Definitely will be recommending.
