Affinity Memorial Chapel

I could not have asked for better service!! I consulted the black owned business page on Facebook. Someone suggested affinity so I did a little research and saw zero negative comments unlike most other funeral homes. They may not have been in business long but they are A+. Very professional and caring. They did a wonderful job with the service from start to finish. They were also very affordable. I would definitely recommend them.

Last week I had lost my father pretty unexpectedly. My brother and I flew in from LA right before it happened. Needless to say my family was trying to cope and make sorts of everything. It was a divine blessing that we were referred by my one of my father's friends to Affinity Memorial Services.nnNever having to plan funeral arrangements before... owners Lori and Michael made this process more bearable than I could possibly dream. Upon first meeting Lori and Michael, when they came to our house to start making arrangements, there was a sense of peace and calm that Lori had that made the planning endurable. The personable touch was there from the beginning when they came to our home. Throughout the entire planning process and through the viewing, service and burial we felt nothing but loved and looked after. I am almost certain that I wouldn't have got this level of care at other funeral homes in the city.nnMy family and I felt more at peace with everything because we knew Lori and her team were moving mountains in such a short period of time to make this funeral happen. I often felt like I was bothersome to her when my Mom and I were contacting quite a bit, but she was always so patient and gracious. The whole process from a week ago to today when my Father was buried we were absolutely taken care of. So much so that my Father was arranged to be buried in Detroit, MI and Michael personally drove him up to Detroit just this morning in time for his burial. This is the type of personalization and care that really stands out and makes such a difference to people who are grieving.
