Brought our cat there and got prompt and excellent service. Dr. Doherty was caring and came up with a plan to help
My wife and I, (Sandy and Lawrence Reid) brought our beloved 14 1/2 year old Taz Reid to be humanely put to sleep. The staff could not have been more compassionate and empathetic and understanding of our grief. The docs and staff gave us privacy and the choice to hold him and rub him as he passed. We had a private room to grieve which was needed because we both just fell apart. In the end all Taz could do was wag his tail as we rubbed him until he passed. We would like to think he was letting us know it was OK. The whole team was professional and respectful and we want to thank the doc for her comforting words in letting us know we did the right thing considering Taz's health issues. Hardest thing we've ever done but this crew helped us make it a little bit easier to take. And they sent a hand written sympathy card to our house also. In the past they had sent birthday cards on Taz birthday as well.
Beware -- this office does not comply with COVID safety procedures. While the vet who comes to speak with you wears a mask, the ladies at the counter only put theirs on when a customer approaches the desk, and techs in the back (who frequently come out into the front desk and customer area) don't wear masks at all. This is plain negligent in a small space where air is not well circulated! Unfortunately I only realized this after my pet was already taken to the back for care and was afraid that saying anything would compromise the treatment. If their concern for human health and safety is this low, I don't want to think about what risks they take with animals. Never again.
Have had good experiences with the doctors & their care for my cat. Not only do they call the next day to check on her (if she’s been there for anything but a well checkup) but they will call again a few days later to double check.
Such a great experience with Dr. Meglino, he made my husband and I as well as our German Sheperd comfortable. He was very thorough and explained things to us. We have found our Veterinarian for life.
