Great staff, very professional and patient, responsive to questions and concerns. Dr. Nelson saw my cat and he clearly explained the options and did not rush me into any decisions. He also asked me to call in a few weeks to update him on my cat's progress. I liked that too.

I would highly recommend this office. They are absolutely amazing. Starting right at the front with the receptionist. So sweet and made me feel so comfortable bringing our cat there. Dr Nelson was great. I’ve been to a few other vets offices before going to helping paws and I never felt welcome or comfortable. It was always so cold and business like. Dr Nelson’s office made me feel relaxed and like I could trust them completely. Our cat instantly relaxed in the doctors hands when he came in. He actually lay down on the table and didn’t struggle to get away at all. I wish I had known about this office sooner ! Thank you !

Unprofessional and rude. I wouldn’t recommend the other vet in town either though. Do yourself and pet a favor and just leave town to see a vet. I promise it’ll be worth it — your pet will actually survive and you won’t be treated like garbage by the lady at the front.

Absolutely love this vet! I will not bring my dog anywhere else. He is a pitbull and Dr. Nelson is so great with him! I've been to a few different offices where the staff and Dr's treat us differently and are dismissive because of my dogs breed, but not here! They are so welcoming and so helpful, especially with his allergies! Judy at the front desk is also great and so nice! I would recommend this office to everyone.

I am beyond disappointed with how poorly I am continually treated at this vet after making sure to give them business over other vets for years now. Judy is incredibly condensing and dismissive both on the phone and in person. Her attitude is definitely not warm and/or welcoming, and she constantly talks over me while getting annoyed about having to answer any extra questions when I’m anxious my pet or appointment. Johnathan gives rather vague answers to questions about my animals, and although he usually doesn’t charge as much as others, I find I have to go back more often because something else always comes up. I’m now starting to wonder if this is a tactic to make more money. I even drove from Clifton Park to give him more business by bringing in my girlfriend’s dog. I came alone with Bailey the first time, and last time my partner came with me. Judy put the four of us in a dirty room full of dog hair and drool and urine and we heard at least one other animal seen before us. I was mortified and almost walked out right then, but Bailey needed medicine badly. When Johnathan walked in late, I introduced my girlfriend and he barely looked at her or answered her questions thoroughly. He wouldn’t call her dog by her name for some reason, he just kept calling her “the other one” and “kiddo.” Her dog was given an allergy shot with barely any information about the drug interactions or side effects. It wasn’t at all cheap, and it didn’t work at all. She’s still itching and biting and no one has checked in like they usually do with my dog. Needless to say, we definitely will not be back — please remove me from your client list immediately. I’d rather spend three times what this business charges at another place where I will hopefully be treated with some decency.
