Went in tonight with our dog who hurt her back. I am so impressed with the staff. Everyone was so kind. The vet did a fantastic job at his physical exam and was able to avoid unnecessary tests. I am so thankful for the thoughtfulness of the diagnostic yield of what he did. Our dog is more comfortable and the fee was so much less expensive than I expected leaving our house. Only drawback was a long wait but for the care she received it’s worth it. Hoping to not need them again but glad to know they’re around if we do.
Couldn’t get a short notice appointment with my Vet so I called this place. Everyone was friendly and they took my dog in short notice. He had hurt his leg earlier in the day. Waiting in the parking lot (due to covid) I got a call from the doctor. He said everything seemed fine, nothing abnormal in the physical, and he didn’t show any pain. Most importantly the doctor told me that my dog was now up and moving around with no problems. This was relieving at first....until the released him, limping, and a nurse literally watched me physically pick up my dog up up to get in back in my car (bc he was in physical pain and I’m not going to send my dog back into that place) I had to carry him back into my house as well. He won’t eat dinner and I have an appointment with my vet in the AM. I just don’t understand at all. Absolutely unbelievable.
The doctors and staff were professional and kind to us. The services offered were thorough and exactly what we needed. We appreciate how kind they where to us and our beloved Luna. Their rates were very fair and clearly spelled out.
I've brought a couple of my dogs here and a cat for emergencies and have had top notch care each time. The staff is exceptional and the doctors really take their time with the patients and the owners. In stressful situations it's nice to have folks who make you and your pet feel really cared for. Just fantastic people.
Stay away from this clinic. It’s taken me so long to get over the loss of my 12 week old French Bulldog.nI brought him in with diarrhea and vomiting. The vet thought he got into something. She did not want to take X-rays of the puppy, she said it was not necessary. I insisted, she stood with her arms folded along the cabinet in the room acting like I was crazy. She finally agreed. I have French Bulldogs now for 10 years, I know they aspirate very quickly also I just had a feeling it was something else. They did keep him overnight and called first thing in the morning to get him, who I did. Since I was not home they just told me to wait to the next day to travel and he should be fine. Long story short, he continued to go downhill. I brought him to a local Er near my primary home, where the doc looked at the very X-ray the Vet at Northway did not want to do and said she saw a shadow. She repeated the X-ray and sent to a radiologist. The report came back that there was a 6 inch stick in his esophagus piercing his heart. Now we are on 4 days after being seen at Northway. Long story short I took him to Upenn for critical care, where they gave him a 50/50 shot of survival. After they opened him up the esophagus was destroyed beyond repair, I then had him euthanized. The stick was a 6 inch shish kabob stick that showed in the very X-ray Northway took. I did not complain about how much anything would cost I just wanted to save my puppy, the only shot he had was a correct diagnosis from the X-ray the vet did not want to take, that also should have been sent to a radiologist that night. I emailed them to let them know what happened but I never heard anything back, not a sorry for your loss, nothing.nStay away from here at all costs with your fur babies.
