I LOVE Dr. Factor. He helped put my mind at ease regarding my 7 month old guinea pig’s health, and gave great recommendations for housing and piggy care that we implemented immediately. My boar and sow were so much happier and interactive after we came to see him and made some changes! Dr. Factor and his entire staff are so friendly, helpful and kind. He even gave Pumpkin a pile of hay to snack on on our ride home! He is super knowledgeable about cavies and I am excited to make him our regular vet!
Doctor Factor has a been our veterinarian for all our dogs for over 25 years. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family. He loves his work and it shows! He treats us and our dogs like family! His staff also has been very thoughtful and caring during some real tough times. Thank God for people like them who care!

My daughter brought her guinea pigs here and was astounded with their vast knowledge and help compared to other vets she had used, so when our little Macaw had a tumor we knew right where to go. They were very safe and took Covid protection seriously, which was a great first impression. They were fantastic and could handle her, and she doesn't let many. They assured us it was a benign tumor and while we should keep a good eye on it, there was no reason to surgically removed it now. They put our parrot's health and comfort, as well as our pockets, ahead of a procedure that could have made them quite a few bucks I am sure. Even though we have a vet down the street that we have used for years and like, we are going to drive the 45 minutes to bring our furry, feathered gang here instead.nOh and if the doc reads this, Curie absolutely loves the senior treats you suggested. Thanks!
My boyfriend and I had pet rats that were on the older side. We had been taking them to another vet for over a year before he confessed that he didn't have the tools to care for our girls properly. He then referred us to West End and I couldn't be more grateful. Dr Santiago was always willing to see our girls when we needed her, or she was ready with the info of emergency vets that could. She was knowledgeable and understanding, willing to answer any and all questions we had. When it came time to deliver bad news about the condition of one of our rats she was kind and gentle. We lost both of our little girls this last weekend but I will be forever thankful that we were able to get them seen by a doctor that cared.
