Love the vets at Stone Ridge. Been with them for years, so many that I can't remember the first time. Wonderful practice and all of the staff are fantastic and caring individuals. Thanks everyone for taking such great care of all my fur babies over the years.

My cat Archie is terrified of his crate and going to the vet, which made us late to our appointment. Fortunately the staff was very understanding assuring me this happens all the time. The technician Courtney (I believe that was her name) was great with Archie, she calmed him down and got his blood draw done quickly. Thank you so much Stone Ridge!

It really stinks to leave negative comments about Stone Ridge, since we've had a lot of good experiences here, but we've recently been extremely frustrated with the clinic's lack of care for our dog.nnWe've been bringing our two Great Pyrenees to Stone Ridge for the last 3 years. We were at first completely happy with the hospital- easy to communicate with, excellent staff all around, the whole experience was fantastic. It seems, however, that Stone Ridge has become a victim of their own success... they seem to be busier and busier, and as a result their attention to detail and empathy for our pets has really taken a turn for the worse. Every time I have been there in the last 18 months it's like a mad house, many customers waiting to be helped, employees seem to be stretched very thin. I've worked at places like that, and I know how tough it can be.nnAnyway, our female Pyrenees recently developed an ear infection. No big deal, she's had one before so we figured it would be an easy call to Stone Ridge to get the medicine.... but when we messaged them about it, their solution was to book her an appointment in May, a full 4 weeks away. I called the next business day to ask if there were any cancellations, and they said no, that I should call every morning at 8am to ask if there are any new cancellations, since the appointments get scooped up so quickly.nnSo this morning, I called at 8:15. Figured I'd give them 15 minutes to get started on their day... but they said I should call exactly at 8am since there's such a frenzy for appointments.nnIt seems like Stone Ridge could have a short list of animals with urgent issues, and simply call a patient on the waiting list if a cancellation comes up. I know this is how my doctor's office operates. To request every customer who has an urgent issue to call in every morning at 8 am to ask for cancellations seems counter productive.nnMaybe my expectations are unrealistic, but an ear infection seems like a relatively urgent issue, with a relatively easy solution. When I spoke with someone on the phone this morning, they agreed that the ear infection is likely an urgent issue, and they recommended that I call around to other vet clinics to see if I can find a place to take my dog. I was severely disappointed to hear that Stone Ridge is turning us away in our time of need.

We've boarded our dogs here for years, and they always come back happy and healthy!!! The employees are super nice and always take good care of the animals there. Their boarding can include baths, playtime, walks, and the dogs come home with little report cards that are super cute!!!!

I have to edit my review after my most recent visit and i am not happy.. We have taken our family pets to this vet for years. I have 6 cats total, 2 are kittens. I took my 2 kittens to get their booster shots, everything was fine. This was at 4pm. The following morning my one kitten woke up to his eyes sealed shut and very red and swollen. I called the vet and the woman on the phone was very short with me. I have never experienced that before. Now 4 days later the other kitten is having the same issue. Now it may be a very unlikely coincidence but none of my other cats have this issue. I've called again today, explained the situation and was told I would get a call back tomorrow. This is unacceptable. I have spent A LOT of money in the past few months on ALL of my animals and I do not feel I should have to be treated this way. I am wondering if this is a infection and since it is contagious my kittens got it from that visit. I feel they should be seen as its not a coincidence and I am NOT paying for yet another $58 visit charge per cat! Not a happy customer right now!
