Took care of our family dog perfectly. Gave us an estimate between 1520 and 2300. They actually came back at 1287.20. When was the last time you heard of someone coming back below with their lowest estimate. Oh by the way the dog is home the children are happy everything worked out perfectly

Be prepared to wait at least 2 hours in your car before your pets will even be seen, then they’ll hold onto your pets for another 2 hours and make you wait without calling you. I brought my two sick guinea pigs here thinking it would be quick and easy but this was so far from the truth. When you try to explain that you’ve been waiting, your car is running out of gas, etc you’ll be met with “oh I’m so sorry that this is happening, I understand, it’ll just be a few more minutes..” there’s literally no one else here so I don’t understand how this is happening. I’m paying $315 for two medications for two guinea pigs. I understand that what vets do is important and they have to charge something but they could have been waaay more professional and actually tried to expedite this process after knowing full well how long I have been waiting. This is absolutely absurd, unprofessional and just plain ridiculous.

We had an emergency with our lab and the staff at Newton was wonderful. They listened to me about what the problem was and went to work immediately to help our dog. They stayed in communication with me throughout the process . They were upfront about cost and compared to other emergency clinics, the charges were more than reasonable. If ever our regular vet is not available, I will return to Newton. I definitely recommend them.

I made an appointment land then they proceeded to charge me an emergency fee “because I was a new patient”. She was getting blood work just because she wasn’t herself. Not sick but she’s a English Bulldog and I wanted to have her checked out. My dog walked in with them perfectly fine and 2 hours later I got a call that she was “distressed”. From bloodwork? I told them to bring her to me immediately/ she had to be carried out. She was on the verge of a stroke. She was overheated, gasping for air, and completely freaked out. I’ve never seen her this way and hope I never do. When I received the bill a few days later I called to dispute some of the over inflated charges on it. No response. Called several times, no response back. Sent a letter-no response. Sent a partial payment with another letter - no response. Until almost a year later - they sent me to collections and had some condescending/ arrogant man call and harass me. I’m reporting this practice to the BBB and anyone else I can. Don’t EVER bring your pet here. They are horrible in every way. Most importantly, in the care of your pet. I’m lucky my poor girl didn’t have a stroke abs I was able to calm her down after about 2 1/2 hours of cooling and rest!

I have been bringing my cats here for a long time. Everything was fine with the Dr. and the personnel that answers the phone. It was when I arrived home and could not get the medical tape off my cats back leg. I was able to losen it and had it hanging off but it was it is stuck good on my cats fur on his leg. I tried saturating it with olive oil and tried to gently pull.nnIt was a no go , cats are not going to sit still for this.nWhy the heck flex tape is not used on the animals I don't know. That's why I am not rating a 5 like I normally would. Very frustrating ud83dude15
