Animal Hospital of Sussex County

I brought my older dog recently for surgery on her knee (tightrope procedure). The doctor and staff are wonderful! They truly care about the animals in their care and are very good at responding to questions quickly. We live a little over an hour away and it was totally worth the extra drive. My dog is doing great now just less than 30 days after her surgery. I would definitely recommend this place.

They are very compassionate and went out of there way to take care of my cats. Can't say enough about them.

I was looking for a new Vet and I found this Animal hospital. I was impressed my the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Dr. Laurie was so nice. I knew Tinkerbell was in the right hands. Make sure to look them up if you want the best care for your pet(s).

We moved from MN to PA a year and a half ago. It was important to us to find a vet for our pup that we could trust completely and be comfortable with taking care of her for the rest of her life. Animal Hospital of Sussex County is just that. And well worth the 45min. Drive .They are caring, patient, and most of all make our pooches feel comfortable. We also had two older dogs, but in an effort to keep some normalcy for them we kept them at the chain vet at first being we had a good experience with them in MN. But because we feel so much more comfortable here and that the staff is more personable, AHSC is who we trusted when having to put our oldest dog to sleep, and we now bring our other older dog to them along with our youngest one. I worry a lot so I always ask a lot of questions and they are extremely patient with me. They have been wonderful with our dogs from simple vaccinations to dental procedures, injuries, euthanasia, and spay surgery. We highly recommend them!

I will never go anywhere else but here. They are amazing and caring. They truly care about your pets. You can tell when you speak with them on the phone and before they have even met your pet.
