Our dog went for his yearly checkup and shots with Dr. Newman, and as always, we were very happy with the care he got. With the careful Covid procedures in place, he was taken inside without us. It usually takes two of us to hold him for his shots, but they were great at managing his frantic vet-phobia without us, and they even trimmed the matted hair that had grown between his pads. Dr. Newman followed up with a phone call to answer the list of questions we had left for her. Dr. Newman is the best vet we've had over the many years of having dogs.

Whether it's a well visit or a sick visit, I wouldn't use anyone else for our fur babies. Dr. Newman runs a wonderful practice with a top notch, kind and friendly staff. Dr. Zydiack has been taking caring of our animals for several years and she treats them like her own. I have recommended Harlingen to all our our friends and family. Can't say enough good things about them!

We just acquired a puppy from a breeder and brought her today for her first check up. My parents bring our family dog here for her appointments. The staff here is very professional, kind, and welcoming. The woman answering the phone is very friendly. The text message notifications and follow ups are great and appreciative. Thank you for treating our family dogs with such great care and attention.

We have been using Harlingen Veterinary Hospital for more years than I can count for our dogs and cat. They have provided excellent care for our beloved pets every step of the way from puppies to our aging pets. We just got a new puppy. As always, Dr. Zydiak provided great care for our puppy, Penny, as well as helpful guidance to us. In the past, Dr. Newman was also wonderful in helping us and our dogs through the difficult times of losing our beloved family dogs to the inevitable aging process. To sum it up, all the vets, techs, support staff at Harlingen can always be counted on to take great care of our pets and to provide us, their people, with support and guidance every step of the way!

I am a new pet owner and had no idea what I was doing with our bunny. We took him for his first visit with Dr. Oakley during the pandemic and I was so beyond happy with everything! Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful and they keep everyone safe by limiting contact. They come out to your car to get your pet and then return them when the exam is completed. The Dr called me while I was in the parking lot and talked about all my concerns, answered all of my questions and even sent me an email the following day with more information that I needed. He was so knowledgeable, compassionate, professional and kind. I would highly recommend this Vet office! I’m so happy to be here, thanks to a wonderful staff and doctors!
