They turned away our loving dog that they have been treating for diabetes in an emergency diabetic crisis at 4:00 pm on a Saturday. They advertise 24/7 emergency service and left us finding our own care. Unacceptable, they will no longer care for our pets.

Mrs Morris had helped me with our dog that had 4 treatments for hookworm, and I thought they would never leave him but the vet gave home one treatment and the hookworms were gone.nThe staff in the office are very caring and friendly. Dr. Hope sure knows what she is doing. ud83dudec5a

I went to Animal Care Center with my cat who has not been outside in ten years. He was very overwhelmed. The assistant was excellent with him and comforted him. Dr Hope was excellent. Sweet, Gentle and Professional. I am glad I decided to stay at Animal Care Center with the new Owners/doctors!

I adopted a beautiful 3 pawed kitten from Wayne Animal Shelter in January. Although the adoption process took about a month, we were so excited to save a kitten. We were told by the animal shelter he had a birth defect which was why he was missing a paw. Fast forward two months he jump on the counter and hit his leg causing the skin to break and bleed leaving the bone exposed. In urgency we took him to the animal care center of NJ. The DVM Debra saw our little boy and wrapped his leg which costed me 300 dollars only for him to rip off the unsecured bandage in under an hour. I was surprised to hear she stated the missing paw was definitely not caused by a birth defect rather an accident he was in and stated the doctor may have written it off as a birth defect because they were unaware of the real issue. Long story short they advised the cost would be 5000 dollars to remove his entire leg which we were originally told was a birth defect by her own husband who is a veterinarian for the Wayne animal shelter. This place tried to scam me out of 5 grand after her husband falsified a document. Luckily I was able to get the surgery done by a recommended doctor in the area for 895 dollars and the kitty is doing great! Do not visit the Animal Care Center of NJ unless there is no other option for you a it is an absolute emergency! They have no compassion for animals. My opinion stands for the Wayne Animal Shelter as well. If you are an animal lover looking to save a beautiful animal, look elsewhere.
