Monmouth County SPCA

I have always liked the SPCA. It's clean. Most of the workers are helpful. They have reasonable rates to adopt. Many of the animals are fostered in regular homes so they know how to behave when they get to your home. I once brought a litter of kittens there and all got adopted. They let me call and check on them.

We had a raccoon in our dumpster and they responded promptly and to rescue him! The raccoon was terrified . They were kind and gentle with the animal. They could not have done a better job and been more professional as well as friendly . Thank you so much !

Excellent adoption facility. Very clean, friendly attentive staff, it's obvious they genuinely care for the animals.nnThe adoption process was easy enough and the staff took the time to explain general animal care and best practices with acclimating our newest member of the family with the rest of the household.nnI highly recommend adopting from Monmouth SPCA if you're looking to adopt a cat or dog. ud83dude03

We went to the thrift store, not the shelter. It's a great place to shop with high quality donations. Their inventory is always changing, so it's hit or miss if you will find stuff you like. This time my older daughter got a coat, puffer best, some tops, and a scarf. My younger daughter didn't see anything she wanted. I got some treats for our dog and a necklace for myself. (Sometimes they have overstock treats that get donated).nnThey have a good jewelry selection. Their prices on everything are very reasonable, plus all the money goes to help the animals.

My wife and I adopted 2 puppies (Boots & Tank) on 8/29/2019 and the staff and shelter was great. An amazing experience. Both came to us very healthy and loving. Thank you SPCA for 2 great puppies and experience. Jimmy and Kathy
