Always fair and willing to work with you no weird pressure and they will accommodate as much or as little care you ask for them to provide and they take very good care of your pet.

I recently had a horrific experience with my original vet and decided to bring my cat to south river. They took great care of my cat and took the time to look over my her, unlike my original vet. My cat was balding and scratching herself to the point she was bleeding. I am so grateful for the staff at South River for making my baby better again. I also have to say Andreia is very sweet, professional, and communicated with me through out the visit since I was unable to come into the building due to COVID guidelines. Definitely recommend to bring your pet to south river. Wonderful experience !!!

Stay away from this vet. He's rude and does not take responsibility for what they tell you over the phone. I visited this Vet to receive my pregnant dog's Xray initially in Nov. That was fine although they never see you on time for your appointment. I then visited them when one of her puppies just born had an issue and ended up not making it, which again was ok in Dec. Then I setup an appointment to bring in her 7 puppies for their physical checkup to provide to the new owners. I made it very clear they were not receiving vaccines/deworming and it was just for the health papers to be given to the new owners. I then asked how much it was going to be as I don't like to be blindsided. So the lady put me on hold and asked the doctor (I could hear her) and then she said he's going to give you a 25% breeder discount, so I said that's great, how much will it be. She then told me $224 total (which is more than other vets for a litter visit but they are close by so I figured it's ok). Needless to say I went to the appointment, they took all the puppies in 30 minutes after our appointment. They initially didn't even want to examine mom. That should have been the first clue that they are not professional or interested in the dog's health. Why wouldn't you want to ensure a mom who had babies is ok and has no issues? I then proceeded to tell them I wanted her looked at also and that she had a small lump on her back that got a little bigger. I made sure to let them know again that they are just here for well visits, no vaccines or deworming and I needed health certificates (exam sheet) even though I mentioned all this when I made the appt. They gave me puppies back, then took in mom, and then proceeded to tell me I owed them about $392. When I said what happened to the discount, they said what discount, we don't give breeder discounts unless you are getting vaccines and deworming. I said that's not what I was told and why was I given a price of $224 if I was supposed to be getting vaccines and deworming? The doctor then came out and was very nasty and said you're wasting an hour of my time and I never told you that and we don't do that. I told him why would I make this up? I told them to go back and look at the file as the woman who made the appointment said she was noting that. After arguing for 15 minutes and them playing the blame game of it wasn't me, oh she told you that because she thought it was 6 puppies coz one died. I was like no way, I made it very clear how many puppies I was bringing in and if anything I owed them for the mom as well. They clearly were going back on their word and penalizing me coz they couldn't make extra money on vaccines and deworming. In the end I settled for them taking one puppy off the price but they lost a breeder customer forever. They don't really care about the wellness of your pets here. They care more about your money and do not honor the prices they tell you. I will never visit them again.

Everyone at this office was a pleasure to deal with. The appointment was on time and the Dr did everything that was requested. Unfortunately, was unable to meet him due to Covid rules but would still recommend him. This was the only office, out the 6 I called for a SNAP test, that called me back and got it taken care of within 24 hours.

My family has been using SR vet clinic for as long as I can remember. I've moved around, and other vets simply do not compare. I always find myself back at SR vet. Dr. Boulos is professional, compassionate, and works hard to accommodate any schedule.
