Dr. Sierke was terrific when I had to bring my cat in when she was sick! She and all of her staff were extremely friendly and professional. I won’t be going to anyone else from now on, would highly recommend!

I posted a review of Dr. Sierke and she through her office replied to my review. Since I am unable to respond to that reply on this review and do not accept what the reply says, I decided to reply another way. So, my INITAL review follows and then look for my reply as a new review using another email address. Believe me, if you are reading this, I advise reading the entire dissertation. It is in your best interests and moreover, your pet's best interest.nnMY INITIAL REVIEWnDr. Susan Sierke hurt my dog. She was handled roughly while examining her for an ear infection and her eye was “injured”. I don’t know how it happened because no one is allowed into the facility with their pet currently. But it happened while she was there. Accidents happen. I understand that. The problem with Dr. Sierke and the place where she currently works (East Brunswick Animal Hospital) is that she denied anything had happened, she did not make a referral to an ophthalmologist as she should have in the case of my dog’s breed and eye sensitivity and then they circled the wagons when they thought they would get sued. And all I ever wanted was an apology from her. Nothing she can do will bring my dog's eye back. They’ve said I was to blame for not administering the prescribed medication which I did until the condition has worsened so it required an emergency room visit. They said the dog scratched her own eye which she didn’t. When I brought her in there she had no eye damage. So it's a he said, she said thing. They called me a bully because I was emotional about my pet and called her a name. Grow up! And then finally she had her manager call me to tell me they would not reimburse me the thousands of dollars I spent on surgery not to mention the emotional pain and suffering and that he understood that I had to “do what I had to do”. In other words, bring a suit against them. So I would simply say to anyone who reads this review, beware of EBAH and beware of Dr. Sierke. Take your pet elsewhere. And don’t let anyone take your dog into an examination room without you. Remember, as many good reviews you read there are those bad ones. You decide about the care of your pet.
