Dr Petlover brings back the LOVE into veterinary care!! Dr. Campos has taken care of both my cat and my dogs in unexpected situations as well as regular visits. Not only is Dr. Campos and her wonderful vet tech Erin are completely professional and thorough but they really make the animals feel loved!!!!nOur pets start out more comfortable because they're in their own home plus these women leave no stone unturned to keep our babies in the best of health!nI would recommend them to anyone who cares about their pets!!!!!

Here is an overview of our experience with this provider.nnProsn- Provider was very warm with our petn- Brought assistant that was quite goodn- Kept our Pet calm during the visitn- Provided a little bag of treats/toy at the end of visit. Nice touch.nnConsn- Costs were an issue throughout. Costs for procedures were not discussed in advance of performance and rates for standard procedures (beyond travel fee) were quite inflated compared to standard providers. Note that the cost of the base initial visit was properly discussed in advance. When costs were requested in advance of recommended follow up procedures, the provider avoided providing requested information until repeated requests were made. The provider did not seem pleased to provide such information.n- When asked the reason for deviating from the standard recommendations of the AAFP and The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) regarding taking blood pressure on regular visits, the provider became volatile and stated that they viewed the question as an attack on their credentials. A few minutes later, a representative emailed refusing to provide further services to our pet. No this is not a joke.n- Provider did not provide prescriptions upon request in accordance with NJ law. This law is intended to ensure that consumers can obtain supplies from standard retailers that are often more competitive in pricing.n- Overall professionalism, transparency, and customer service level was lacking.nnAdvicen- If costs are a factor for your family, be sure to ask for a standard price list in advance of scheduling a visit and performing procedures.n- If your cat is older, request that blood pressure be taken during the normal initial visit to avoid having to do an unnecessary follow up visit just for that purpose. If stress levels of the pet are a concern, the provider can do this at the beginning of the visit before taking blood etc.n- Be careful with how you present medical questions and concerns to avoid setting off the provider.n- Know your legal rights and confirm that the provider will freely provider written prescriptions prior to scheduling your first visit.n- Overall, if the issues mentioned above are cause for concern, we recommend you try one of the other mobile vets in the area.

I know we could have never gotten through this very difficult time, from the initial grim diagnosis we received when our baby Kibby suddenly got sick-- right through to the time we sent Kibby to the rainbow bridge on August 12, 2016, without the compassion and help of Dr. Campos and Erin. I knew I didn't want our Babygirl Kibbles to endure the trauma of having to be put in a crate and driven to a vet's office ever again. They made this important decision possible for us and They also made one of the worst times of my life a little more bearable. I'm forever grateful for the short time we had the pleasure of getting to know DR.PETLOVER. I only wish I had them in our lives sooner.nThey treated Kibby like a little QUEEN and I'll never forget the comfort I felt knowing that we were more to them than just a number. I wouldn't have had my lil soulmate's final weeks any other way.nThank you from the bottom of my heart! ♡
