Carlstadt Animal Hospital

We've been going to this office for over three years, ever since we adopted our two cats. We love it! The office staff is always friendly and accommodating. However, what's most important is that EVERY SINGLE VET and assistant or intern we see has always been extremely knowledgeable, patient, understanding and an obvious lover of animals. We've recommended this office to all our fellow pet parents and it's the only place I'll ever go. Dr. Beeber and Dr. Sass are incredible! So thorough, warm and they always follow up on our sweet kitties! Love this practice so much.

Great staff who handled a nervous puppy and a pandemic-friendly intake very well. Our puppy was quickly greeted by the friendly tech then the vet who allowed ample time for our questions. There was no up-selling of unnecessary procedures, preventatives, etc. and we're definitely happy with our choice in vet clinics.

Everyone who works here at the CAH honestly cares for your pet's safety and wellbeing. Very friendly staff who make sure they understand what the vet needs to know. Amazing vets who not only are careful with your pet, but will explain everything to you the best way possible. Prices are fair and both the online and phone service are easy to use.

Honestly I don’t even want to give this place one star. My dog was diagnosed dermatofibroma . 5-7 inch mass removal was done. 3 weeks later, stitches were “supposedly” removed. Later on I noticed that there are still stitches left in the corner. I called their office and left a voicemail. Receptionist called and told me I have to schedule an appointment visit and that there would be a charge for the office visit because it’s a medical concern. NO! This is a complaint. If the stitches were removed completely and properly performed the first time, I wouldn’t have this problem. I wouldn’t be writing this either. The receptionist did not listen to me, she kept telling me she was going to hang up the phone because I was complaining too much! She also said having leftover stitches after removal is normal! Of course i would complain, the surgeon who performed the surgery didn’t remove the stitches himself and was left to “someone” else. The receptionist attitude and unprofessional manner. She did not even make an appointment for my dog. This entire experience was unprofessional and I am very disappointed at their customer service especially at their practice. If you have a problem and complain to them, they would just hang up the phone and would not pick up the phone. They have caller id so they’re selecting their calls, the receptionist said why am I calling so many times. She knew it was me and did not pick up the phone.

My fur baby had an appointment today with them and I'm so happy I gave them a chance. Dr Sass and her staff were very professional. Her vet tech Greg was so nice and you can tell that every there loves animals and wants to help.
