EXTREMELY disappointed with PAWS this morning! I have been a loyal customer with my dog for nearly 6 yrs and when I called with a potential life threatening concern ( I don't use this phrase lightly) with my 4 legged family member .... all they could say was that we are double booked and they could not do anything! NO advice over the phone. NO taking a minute to see if the vet or the vet tech has a moment to address my concern. NO taking of a message to have someone call me back when they have a spare minute or two. NO NOTHING! They would not even squeeze me in somewhere (for a possible emergency). All they said is they would send me somewhere else! UNBELIEVABLE! I spend my time and money with a place that I thought I could trust and have the best interest of me and my dog at heart .... and then I find out that all I am to them is $$$$ .... NOTHING MORE! I feel that if they truly cared about our pets then they would make some time to at least talk to us over the phone for a few minutes to see if an event is truly worth an emergency visit to the vet .... for which they should ABSOLUTELY make time for! I lost one dear pet to this exact situation with another local vet ... when I needed them the most ... they were NOT there for me and my dog and I ended up having to put her down for a situation that was completely avoidable if they had only truly cared about my dog! Now I am spending time, energy, and emotional distress trying to find a vet that is willing to actually take just a few moments to address my concerns. Maybe even look for a NEW veterinarian that truly cares for our animals and not just the almighty dollar!

The people here are genuine, friendly, and ambitious to help! The visit and follow up was extremely quick and courteous. They even got my pup to smileud83dudc15ud83dudc99

To whom it may concern,nnI came to your clinic with my cat, Kasey, because I felt that something was not right with him. I was sent emailed results and told there were no current concerns after a check up and some lab work. ( see below where Kasey is referred to as a female...he is male) I asked multiple times for a phone call from the doctor so that I could get further information or ask questions pertaining to the results. This was due to the fact that I was convinced something was not ok with my cat. I never received a call.nnToday I went to Blaine Central Veterinary Clinic for a second opinion. Kasey has a large tumor and his lungs and surrounding area are filled with fluid. He is being put down today because of the advanced state of his tumor.nnI thought you should know.nnSincerely, a disappointed and heartbroken client.

PAWS takes advantage of their clients with how they price their services. Its overpriced and doesnt make sense. Katie S should not be sending out estimates. I received a combined estimate for 2 procedures at $490. I asked Katie if she could separate them so I could justify the cost. She sends me estimates that total $1380.... how did we get there? Why, as separates, are they 3x the price? I called Katie to see if she could answer these concerns and it ended with her hanging up on me. If you cant answer simple questions on the pricing of the estimates you sent out.. why are you the one creating the estimates?nnAs an accountant, I would highly recommend PAWS hiring a cost accountant to work through these cost/pricing issues.nnWith all of that, Dr Beck was awesome and I'm disappointed her staff are so incompetent and unprofessional.

I was told this was the best place to bring your pet for care. Found this to be not true. After going there for a year had several problems. Constantly changing staff, un organized, lack of care for pets or owners. So glad I'm not going there anymore.
