Legit Angels work here!! I called today totally last minute to get a health certificate so I could fly out tonight and Erin (Who ROCKS and has just about the sweetest, most calming voice when one is calling in a rush) got me in within an hour from calling. The entire staff are angels, just sweetheart animal lovers who are also super professional.nnErin went above and beyond for me and without asking printed up other documents she knew I would need for my flight!! Talk about a sweetheart!! And she was super personable (they all were) and shared their own animal pix with me, which I always LOVE!!nnThey got me in and out efficiently and the price was so reasonable (they quoted me on phone first and that was the God’s truth, no additional charges, they are an honest clinic).nnAnd I have to say the clinic itself was lovely, very updated and extremely clean and sanitary!! Great job y’all!!nnThank you everyone for the excellent care and service and for making what could have been a stressful last minute situation an absolute breeze!!!nHIGHLY recommend them!!
I took my cat here after going to the emergency vet the night before. The emergency vet told me just to put her down. She most likely wouldn't make it but I decided to get a second opinion. After calling 24 other vets Dix Animal Hospital were the only ones able to help and I wouldn't have my Monkey. thanks to Doc and all the techs after 3 months Monkey is back to normal and feisty as ever!!!
Took my puppy here to get her paw looked at. She was acting like it was hurting her like she may have gotten something stuck so we wanted it examined. We were told she needed X-rays on knees and hips (not paw?) and over a very confusing couple of hours, we were given a heavily sedated dog and shown normal X-rays of her knees and hips but were given medication for pain and inflammation anyway (not the complaint, she was sensitive about her back paw specifically and nothing else). Blood work was taken and we were told she had elevated liver enzymes despite being only 9 months old and were not told what would’ve caused it, only more tests and more money they could charge. We declined and took what we were given (we weren’t given much of a choice with anything even after explicitly asking for our dog back because the lack of communication and organization made us very uncomfortable leaving her there any longer). We left with a $500+ bill and no answers on her paw, only more questions on the liver blood work?? Since then we have gotten all work rechecked at a trusted vet and everything is 100% normal, including her blood work and liver levels. Not only that, Dix animal hospital refused to send over anything from her file to the new vet aside from a few X-rays, no notes/blood work/vaccine records, despite the vet and us calling for over a week to request the info. 0/10 do not bring your pet here unless you want to be confused and lied to and overcharged/scammed. It was close to home but we will now be driving 40 minutes for someone I can trust. Very disappointed and this wasn’t the first issue we had had, only the last and final straw.
I love it here! Everyone was so kind and helpful and made me feel like my puppy Deuce was in good hands. their prices are very reasonable and they really do care for your babies! Not just trying to get them in and out. They saved my puppy’s life and took the greatest care of him. I’m pretty positive that this is my new place
I went to a different place first with my dog BIG MISTAKE! My dog was attacked and had his eyeball pulled out. The staff and thank goodness for the vets were the BEST. They took my dog and got him all fixed up. I truly couldn't give them a better rating.
