The difference between a veterinarian and a good veterinarian is caring. I brought my newly adopted dog here for a surgery I really didn’t have money for and these kind people fit him in quickly (even with their busy schedule) and sent him back to me all fixed up for $600 less than I had intended. Family and I have taken our dogs here for 20+ years. Great vets, techs, and treat the dogs like they are their own. Always fair pricing and have done everything from regular check ups to operations. Honest and will always put your pet first over price gouging. Highly recommend!

Dr. Williamson is fantastic and everyone from the front desk to the vet techs are great. They have been attentive (they listen!) and knowledgeable with my special needs pups. We are very happy with Mattawan.
While out of town this past weekend, our chocolate lab was attacked by two dogs at the kennel and needed stitches. He was taken to Mattawan Animal Hospital on Saturday morning. They went above and beyond caring for him (even on their day off) until our return on Tuesday. They called twice a day with updates and really put our minds at ease. We have always loved using Mattawan Animal Hospital for our routine visits over the years, but now they hold a special place in our hearts for taking such good care of our boy. Thank you!
