Amazing service. After calling 6 different bets and they all telling me they are booked up for weeks and can’t make an exception for my 16yr old cat she is having a hard time breathing they told me to bring him right in and take good care of him. They are also better prices than other vets in the area. They are my new vet for all my pets.
I took my cat here to get fixed and it was a great experience. They kept him overnight which was great for my piece of mind. The pick up and drop off times are flexible. They also trimmed his nails! It’s a great value and everybody there is so friendly.
We have gone to Dr. Holt for almost 20 years with both of our dogs. He is knowledgeable and has always been kind and gentle with our pets. Recently our doodle needed her teeth cleaned and JAH had the best price in the area, and was less than half of other vets in the area. Years ago Dr. Holt put our elderly golden down and he was very compassionate and spoke soothingly to our dog and to us. We are comfortable with the priority being on our pets, although the building may not be the newest as others have mentioned in their reviews. The building is not a reflection of the care that your pet will receive if you decide to go here.
Dr Holt was extremely kind and compassionate. He helped us care for our dog in the last few months as we battled complications from diabetes. He guided us through what would be best to feed him and how to care for him without just over medicating him. The place is really old school and to some may seem run-down. But the staff is really friendly and the care is good. It is easy to get an appointment even fairly last minute.
Love Dr Holt. The whole team is great, but our experiences with Dr Holt have been great, so knowledgeable and full of compassion, he also takes an interest in the pet parents as well.nAnd the icing on the cake, you'll be hard pressed to find better pricing anywhere in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. It's a no frills clinic and he passes those savings on.
