The team at back cove animal hospital is incredibly kind and caring. We had previously been going to another Portland area vet and they had left a bad taste in our mouth. Our first visit here with our two cats was a few days ago and I've been smiling ever since. Dr. Matt was such a considerate vet and was extremely pleasant through his follow up. You can tell everyone here is very passionate about their work and really care for the pets and the owners as well.
This place is the best! I've been taking my pup here for over a year now and each experience has been just so amazing. They are friendly, respectful, informative and always put your pet's needs first. Cheers to this veterinary clinic!
I started going to Back Cove with a cat I adopted in March 2020. She was failing with renal disease, but I was so impressed with the excellent care Back Cove gave her and the compassion they showed for both of us. That kitty died in November. I now have a healthy boy I adopted in December and Back Cove continues to offer quality care. I have faith my fur-babies receive the best possible care here.
My boy had a tragic and rather rapid decline in health. The staff here were very empathetic, professional, and real with me. I'm grateful to them for helping him feel better in his last few days and although it was still agonizing to say goodbye, they made the process easier.
new to the area so it was our first time here. . couldn't be happier they were thorough, kind, and great with my somewhat anxious cat. this is definitely our place : )
