I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Laney. She was extremely compassionate and showed so much love for our beloved Rambo when she helped us with his passing. She felt like a member of our family which put him at ease. Dr. Laney got us on her schedule right away, was prompt, and professional.

I do not have the words to describe how much Dr. Long helped me and my cat, Niki. Niki had a long battle with Kidney Failure and had declined considerably very rapidly. It was unacceptable to me to let her continue suffering. I was not comfortable taking her to be euthanized at the vet's because Niki was so scared of the vet's office, even though Niki was a frequent visitor. I wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. I've never had an animal euthanized before and it was indescribably hard to choose this, but I was aware of Niki's condition and how much more worse it could get.nnWith Dr. Long's help Niki was able to pass peacefully in her own home. This is one of the most miserable days of my life but Niki's inevitable passing couldn't have gone better.nnI had never seen Dr. Long before and she had been recommended to me by someone else. She responded very quickly and promptly to my phone call and made an appointment with me with me that was essentially immediate. She understood the importance of this situation. From the very first moment I spoke to her I felt her overwhelming compassion.nnDespite how upsetting and miserable the situation was, this was the absolute best experience I have ever had with a veterinarian. Dr. Long is really a wonderful person and I could not recommend her enough.nnIf you're reading this, thank you Dr. Long. I can't thank you enough for your compassion. You have made a world of difference to me and made this difficult experience as good as it could possibly be.

Dr. Laney Long is a wonderful asset to the veterinary community in the QC. She primarily does house calls, but as necessary works with other community animal clinics if the need arises. I have an older dog who has trouble getting to the office vet. She's had several mini-strokes over the years and it's a challenge to get her in the car. By the time we arrive for the consult at a typical vet office, I feel that her symptoms get masked by adrenaline. Dr. Long comes into the home, and observes in a non-threatening environment. When I first called Dr. Long, I was considering in-home euthanasia, right after my dog had her last mini-stroke. She was not doing well. Dr. Long assessed my dog, 4 days after that stroke, and let me know that her heart was still strong, that her gastrointestinal functions were fine, and that she did not appear to be in any pain (other than arthritis) and that she wasn't ready to go. Dr. Long was right. My dog is getting better every day. She'll never be the spry puppy that she was, but she's still with us for now. I realize that at some point I might need to make a tough decision. But for now, we are good. Thanks Dr. Long.
