Had a terrible experience ordering a sympathy plant to send to the family who just suffered a sudden and tragic lost. I ordered a small tasteful plant in a beautiful bronze vase to send to the family’s home and when I showed up to pick it up they had the largest plant they offered in a weaved basket with a giant pink bow pinned to it. I proceeded to tell the woman that I didn’t order what she was giving me and she then told me that “she did me a favor by giving me the large plant and that the one I ordered was half the size of what she was giving me for free.” I decided in that moment that it wasn’t worth arguing over and I took the plant and left. Unfortunately that wasn’t the end, I made it all the way back to my office and unloaded the enormous bush she gave me and then I decided to look at the card they put in the plant... I customized the order online and proofed it before I submitted it, however Sylvia’s florist did not proof my order before they gave it to me and allowed me to drive 15 minutes back to my office just to realize they incorrectly spelled the name of the deceased individual the plant was representing. Outraged, I called them and told them of the error and how extremely unprofessional it was to first off give me a different item that I didn’t order but second to misspell the deceased’s name was the breaking point for me. They then decided to “fix” the error and deliver me the correct plant and vase with the fixed card. To my dismay, it didn’t stop there. The new plant was delivered and I thought all is well, but was I wrong. After receiving the plant and the woman left, I checked the card again and low and behold ANOTHER ERROR. This time the name was spelled correctly but with complete ignorance they added an EXTRA apostrophe S to the name. So if I was to make an example using the florist shop’s name “ Sylvia’S’S “ was what the sympathy card had on it. This place is a joke and should really rethink the way they do business.

We're currently living overseas, and I needed to send flowers for a funeral. I recently had bad experiences with ordering online and by phone from the local florist that I have used for many years, so I decided to try Sylvia's. I ordered online through their website and then called to confirm the order. As this was for a very dear loved one, I wanted to make sure it would be done nicely even though I wouldn't be there to see it myself. I was told of the substitutions that would have to be made and was assured it would we a nice arrangement. Family members confirmed it was a beautiful spray and well received. I was very pleased with the service and floral arrangement from Sylvia's.

With one days notice Sylvia's Florist made a beautiful all white cross and casket arrangement for my mom's funeral. The flowers were delivered on time the next day. The arrangements were beautiful! Thank you!nnThese pictures are of the cross three days after the funeral and over 18hrs of traveling in the back of my SUV. They still looked beautiful.

I would like to thank amazing kind staff at Sylvia's Florist. I was in a hurry after work on my way to visit a friend at a hospital, I walked in last minute almost closing time and they went above and beyond to make me a beautiful arrangement for my friend. Again thank you again I will continue to do business with you.

I am not one that writes reviews, but I am taking a little of my time to say I'm very happy with Sylvia's florist and I appreciate them taking their time to make sure my mother's funeral flowers look good. I have no words to express my gratitude.. Thanks again!
