The Urban Orchid

Would NOT recommend the Urban Orchid to anyone, especially for important days/holidays, such as Valentine’s Day. We got together with my brother from Illinois and had them send my mom some roses for Valentine’s day. When they delivered them (the morning of) we were asleep, they called and left a message that the flowers were on the front porch, but again we were asleep. When we finally got the message, the flowers had been outside for about 30 minutes in 23 degree weather, so they froze. They could have taken the flowers back to the shop and we would have picked them up there, but you just don't leave a $100 bouquet outside in 23 degree weather!!! My mom brought them inside and left them to thaw out. As the flowers and greenery thawed out, they began to wilt and turn brown and the other long greenery stems broke. Not to mention they weren’t the flowers we originally ordered and it was nothing like the bouquet they advertised. My mom called them and tried to explain the whole ordeal, but the woman who helps run the shop with her husband would not even hear what she had to say, she then hands the phone to her husband and he gives me the same attitude. Doesn’t even apologize for the bad service or rude behavior. He refused to listen to what she had to say and kept hanging up the phone nor would he let us bring him the flowers to their “shop” (I say this because come to find out, they no longer have a standing floral shop, I couldn’t even return them if I wanted to) so he could see them, he said he “did not have to see them becuase he knows he delivered beautiful flowers.” These flowers were HORRIBLE, needless to say we were upset because we gathered our money together to buy my mom these flowers and there goes $100 down the drain. We will never do business with them again, they do not know how to conduct business or handle a situation with a dissatisfied customer.

Horrible service my son sent me flowers for this Valentines day , they delivered my flowers when i was sleeping so when i did not answer the door they left them outside in 23 degree weather they froze, when i woke upad the text message it said my flowers were outside , i quickly went to get them ? 20 mins had passed and they were frozen an hoir later the greenery was brown and so were the rose petals they were dieing , i called and the lady was rude and yawning on purpose as if she did not want to hear me , she passed the phone to her husband , and he srefused to let me bring him the flowers to see , he said he delivered a beautiful bouquet and that roses dont freeze , my son said forst of all i ordered red or pink roses with tulips , not spring bouquet, i got pink and yellow frozen roses no tulips , he said he would refund my money but never did , i posted about it only to find other customers say they did not get what they ordered either and the arrangments were horrible , these ppl run out of their home and dont even have an updated address i guess so you won't bring flowers back .horrible business if you buy from them you may not get what you ordered, and never order during freezing weather, i would never give them my business agI

I simply gave her some color preferences and a budget, and I let the professional put together something that delighted me and thrilled my wife.
