Travis came in on his off day and ended up being the biggest blessing to my family. He helped us out in many ways going above and beyond to ensure we had the best service for my brother Xavier. He was straight forward and did not try to get over on us.nnThe staff was EXCELLENT!! Kind and very attentive from the visitation to the actual service. From the creation of the obituary to how my brother looked, to the bow taken towards my brother at the end of his celebration, they are top notch.nnIf you do not have your affairs in order or you are a low income family, I highly recommend Eternal Rest Funeral home.

Travis was awesome he was very empathetic to our needs and customized a plan to fit our budget. He really went above and beyond what anyone could ask for in such a time of need. Thank you so much!

People please, please do not take your love ones to this place. I have never seen this happen before in my life, this was like a nightmare They are very unprofessional and rude. On March 15th Me and my Children laid our love one to rest. I told my son that they couldn't be trusted because on day one, they never gave, or showed us a price list, just told us prices and wrote it down, but the problems began on the day of the wake when we weren't able to view his body until one hour before the wake and No they did not do a great job. While we were there, I asked them if I could see a program to make sure everything was correct, I was told that they didn't have it ready and they would email it to me when they got it ready. I didn't get an email until early morning the day of the funeral. The Limo driver picked us up from our home late and when I arrived there I asked them to give the programs to our ushers and I was told no he told me he was going to pass them out and when it was time for us to walk in the same man wanted to lead us in, I told him no we have our own Preacher again he told me he was going to do it, it was such a mess, they wouldn't even let our musicians play they kept interfering and then this same man took over our service and started singing and refused to stop no matter how we tried to stop him. As we were leaving headed to the burial site, they almost dropped the casket,they wouldn't even let no one carry the flowers they did that too and , plus the limo driver almost ran into the back of the Hurst five times while he is on the phone fussing about no gas being in the limo. When we arrived at the burial site nothing was ready because we were supposed to be at Mountain Creek in Grand Prairie but they had us scheduled at Laurel Land, so we waited two hours for someone to come to the burial site and while we were waiting, the limo driver left to go get gas as we were waiting the same rude man told my daughters husband to shut up because he asked aquestion about were they going to dig the hole. As they were putting my husband and children Father in the ground they almost dropped him again, the thing they picked him up withs had him dangling around in the air. This was so hurtful to see not to mention family that came from out of town had to witness such horrible mess all while grieving and when I called to talk to the person in charge he just hung up in my face twice. As of this day, I still can't believe this happened and I can't get it out of my head . How can they get away with this?

Very unprofessional staff. Doing business with them was sub par at best. Do not recommend. I only gave them 2 stars because it’s a black owned business. When you call, you get transferred several times and the next person has no idea who or what you’re calling for. Charged us a grip and then tried to charge us to have our mother shipped to us. Terrible experience

Horrible!!! Scammers!! They’ll charge you an extra $650 for “COVID” even if your loved one did not die from COVID. Our loved one had a negative COVID test a few days before his passing. They will embalm a body without a picture, so brace yourselves for looking at a totally different person in a casket. RUN, DO NOT TRUST THEM! One star is too many, I wish I could rate them a 0! They are implementing rules for COVID they’re not even following. They do NOT wear masks. The worse funeral home in DFW!! They should be shut down completely.
