The fifth anniversary of my husband’s passing is approaching. I promised myself I would wait until I knew that it was an objective evaluation rather than grief. At the time of his passing, the Monteagle florist charge me $70 for two yellow roses and a small amount of fern gathered in the back with some beige twine. At the time, I knew that I was being robbed via severe overcharging, and my youngest daughter was with me and also looked at me in utter shock. People who take advantage of those who are grieving are scum. Six very close family friends showed me pictures of what they had ordered to honor my late husband, and the 1/4 scale versions that were delivered all from the Monteagle florist. My advice is that people should use the Sewanee florist or one of the other neighboring florists because people who take advantage of grieving people are extremely unlikely to ever change. To add insult to injury, one of the two roses in the “$70 arrangement” I was sold was actually wilted and beginning to brown. I simply did not have the power to stand up for myself and conduct the memorial for my late husband at the same time. Avoid grief and find an honorable florist.
Bonnie and her staff are always so helpful and make sure that everything I get is absolutely perfect.

Bonnie is awesome. Arrangements are beautiful and price is great. She makes the effort to make her customers happy. Love doing business with her.
