Before I met Melissa on the recommendation from my wedding planner, I knew absolutely nothing about florists or wedding flowers. She was patient and taught me the names of the flowers I showed her from Pinterest inspiration photos and even pulled different pieces she had from the selection in her shop to give me a visual of what different florals would look like together. She also worked to select cost-effective flowers to keep me in budget while still creating a beautiful look. She had the hard task of covering the huge fireplace at Marblegate Farm and her work blew me away. She brought my winter vision to life and absolutely gained my trust. Through our multiple meetings together, it was clear she is professional, organized, and dedicated to what she does. I would recommend her to any and everyone!
I am out of state and I called four florists at the last minute for my two great nieces and their graduation party, looking for some bouquets. I had no luck until I got Melissa Timm Designs and they came through Big time!! My sister FaceTimed me so that I could see the bouquets!! They were gorgeous!! Melissa was one of my best vendor choices for my wedding. I went to her with a general five-color palette (if you can believe it) and the vague notion that I love wildflowers. She helped me pick flowers, and even convinced me that I could do three different centerpieces (I was having trouble choosing). I was utterly delighted when I first saw these flowers! I did not know exactly what the final products would look like, and they exceeded expectations. I got so many compliments on how lovely the bouquets were, and I loved my bouquet so much that I have a giant picture of it hanging on my office wall. She is easy to work with and enthusiastic. Plus she quoted a better price than the other florist I visited (and helped me pick flowers to stay in that budget). I definitely recommend her!
I was referred to Melissa by my amazing venue, River View Family Farms. My wedding was 9 months away when I met with her team and I could not have been happier. Melissa personally sat with me to discuss my vision for my wedding decor. We clicked instantly and she made my dream a reality. I could not be more blown away by her and her teams talent. My boho, fall, themed wedding would not be complete without Melissa Timm’s Design. They handled everything from centerpieces to bouquets, boutonnières, flower arches, and set up. I was almost in tears when I met with her for my sneak peak before my wedding.
