My rescue cat, Salem, went to visit Dr Dave at the urgent care after vomiting several times and beginning to growl every time he was touched. I’m a very protective pet mom so I was nervous to wait in the car while they took care of my baby, but the staff were very competent and reassuring and took the time to give me multiple phone updates on how he was doing while patiently answering my many questions. I was able to speak at length with the vet himself, which helped calm my fears. He laid out exactly how to treat Salem’s severe constipation at home, what to watch for, and at what point I might need to bring him back in. He even called me the next day to check up on Salem and make sure our other cat at home was doing okay as well! I was very impressed with the professionalism showed by everyone, especially during a late-night visit. Definitely reaffirmed our choice in vet offices. Thank you all for helping my sweet little guy feel better!
We have been going here for years and we love it! We have a small dog and when we come to pick him up he is sitting with them! They are so nice here and I trust them. 10/10
Waited.... Waited.... Waited and more. They need to stop advertising as an urgent care provider for animals. If I had waited any longer my Dog could have been dead. I will NEVER take my dogs here again! There is absolutely zero urgency! I swear they have more restrictions than my PCP due to Covid! Get Real! Your priorities are supposed to be to the animals that need your care! Shame on them! They should not be in business! Hope you all enjoyed your jimmy johns delivery while my poor dog was in such terrible pain!
Do NOT call them for any pet emergencies. My dog broke his tooth and was in pain over the weekend and our vet office was closed. We called the Animal hospital on Manchester and were advised that they do not have anyone who does dental and they recommended calling these horribly rude and inconsiderate people. When I called, I was told they could not get me in until after the holidays and that since I had never been there before that they cannot give me any advice on how to make my dog comfortable until someone was able to see him. This is the only place I have ever called that would not even listen or try and help you over the phone with home remedies. If they actually cared about animals they would want to do whatever possible to keep them from pain. I NEVER told the lady I had never been there-she just assumed. They are just rude and I would not want to put the care of my dog in the hands of heartless people like that. DO NOT GO HERE!
I love our vet (Dr. Britt), but the customer service at WGAH is poor. The curbside service is painfully slow and they give no idea how long waits may be if you don’t have an appointment. Even with an appointment expect to wait and wait and wait. They need someone here who knows how to run operations at a busy practice.
