Great place for pet healthcare. Wonderful staff and fantastic doctors. Will ALWAYS take my furry family members here for loving care!!
They are not thorough with their exams and tests. Misdiagnosed my dog which could have cost my dog his life if I hadn’t found veterinary care elsewhere. The office manager was kind in listening to me, but it still does not make up for the doctor and technicians errors. Dr Wolfe almost cost my dogs life, by diagnosing my puppies throwing up and diarrhea as a “sensitive stomach “and to just put him on prescription food. I went to a REAL doctor who did a test and found out he has level 3 of THREE different intestinal parasites. He is now on multiple medications in attempts to clean his system and is finally getting better; after 4 months of begging banfield to help. Waste of time and money.
Great team! They always take great care of my fur babies and do their best to get them in ASAP when not feeling well. Highly recommended.

I have taken my four Pekingese for 12 years to Sunset Hills Banfield. The service over the years has become very mediocre and inconsistent. Worse, they don't seem to go back and look thru my pets history unless I point it out. I have thought about leaving for a long time but mine had being going to them since birth and I put a lot of weight on that. On Christmas Eve one of my pekes had to be put down. Since Banfield was closed my daughter called a veterinarian office close by and the vet drove in 20 minutes from his home to euthanize a dog that wasn't even a client. Christmas Eve mind you. He was so compassionate that the next week I transferred my other 3 pekes to the care of Waterloo Animal Hospital going forward. Bigger is not better. I realize now that with the turnover in doctors at Banfield, that the longevity of our visits didn't matter. I believe they are a training ground for vets who then move on. Highly impersonal service. I was on the wellness plans and used many services. Never missed a checkup, annual teeth cleaning or shots. With four I was there often. Sadly, after 12 years of seeing my four pekes they haven't even called asking why we haven't been there for six months. Don't settle because they are convenient or you like the wellness plan. I'm so glad I finally changed to a place that really cares.
