We never were officially seen by them due to the long wait. But my cat was pretty stable. The doctor even called to give me a heads up that it could be a long wait. She was very nice over the phone and let her know the condition of my cat (stable, bright, alert). She had one of the technicians come out to assess my cat really quick and make sure it was okay to monitor. Said I could come right back if anything changes. It didn't matter that I didn't see them. They communicated with me and we're super friendly the entire time!
I had to take my guinea pig Daisy here last night. The people were wonderful and the vet was so nice. There was a long wait but we were informed about it and to help my guinea pig it was worth it. I was worried about my guinea pig sitting there alone, but was also informed that everyone was holding her to help keep her warm, because her temperature was low. This made me feel so much better. Daisy is doing great now. I appreciate everything that was done for her.
After calling multiple local veterinarian clinics and continuously being turned down I spoke with the receptionist at St. Louis Animal Emergency Clinic. My sisters dog was very ill and we were almost positive that we were going to have to put her down. The receptionist was very attentive to the details I gave her about my i sisters dog. Upon arrival they came and got her immediately from the car for the doctor to check her out while my sister continued check in over the phone. We ended up having to put her dog to rest. The doctor and staff were amazing during this whole process. I would recommend anyone to use this clinic.
Animal Emergency Clinic is a reliable and trustworthy source for emergency/after hours veterinary care. The veterinarians are compassionate and knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable and informed every step of the way when we were worried our male cat had a urinary obstruction. They're prompt with record-sending and are competitively priced. Emergency visits and diagnostics are never going to be cheap, but AEC is well worth the cost and peace of mind. We're grateful to have them around to serve our community and care for our pets.
Our experience with St Louis Emergency hospital was amazing. We were visiting friends with our 5 month old puppies when one of them got into something that was causing seizure like symptoms. The staff at 4am was quick to respond and diagnose the condition. Throughout his 36 hour stay, I received update calls and they welcomed my many calls for a status update. There is nothing scarier than being away from home when your dog gets sick- but their professional care had him back to good health and we were able to continue our trip East.
