Love Shively Animal Clinic!!!! The doctors are AWESOME we see Dr. Mary Jane, but have also seen other doctors within the practice. The downside is you have to make two trips one to sign-in and the other when it's your turn. Hopefully, in the future they can do a way to sign-in through the website or some type of portal. Great staff as well who work very hard to accommodate the best they can. I would recommend here you save so much ud83dudcb0. I am impressed with this place! You wait in line, you come back with your pet, there are others waiting, somewhat chaotic and busy fast paced employees everywhere. Then it is you and your beloved pet in a room. In walks the Doctor and staff member . This is why you waited; they possess enormous compassion, patience, and the knowledge and wisdom of the science needed to treat your loved one. They are up to date on best practices and will offer the best .I am so grateful and pleased to have found Dr. Mary Jane and wonderful staff! Worth the Wait!nSarah O'Connor
My family and I have been using Shively Animal Clinic for 40+ years, I have literally taken dozens of animals here and have always been satisfied. There's a reason they are so busy....because they're the best in town and the most reasonably priced. I'm usually seen by Dr. Joyce or Dr. Mary Jane, which in my opinion are the two best doctors there but I've seen other Doctors and never had any issues. Yes, your going to have to wait to be seen but that's the trade off for being able to walk in anytime you want, assuming its during regular business hours, which I think is 6am-7pm, but keep in mind they are open 24/7 but you will be charged and extra fee for after hour service which should be expected. I would highly recommend Shively Animal Clinic.
This place is always busy, so expect to spend the whole day on your visit. But that is just a reflection of how wonderful everyone who works here is. They're always willing to help, and answer questions. And the price cannot be beat. They're in this for the animals, not a ridiculously high profit. They've always went above and beyond in treating my animals. From Geckos to kittens, they've taken care of them with great kindness, capability and empathy! Highly recommend! Cheaper than a lot of other Emergency Rooms locally too!
