South Hall Veterinary Hospital is the absolute best! The staff here have always been fantastic… I really cannot say enough how great these people are!nnHUGE shout-out to Grooming by Kory! Every summer, we bring in our Husky for a haircut, and you can see how much better she feels (and looks!) getting all that hair shaved off of her! She’s like a brand new dog!nnIf you’re looking for a vet hospital that is friendly, welcoming, and makes you (and your pets) feel valued, then I highly recommend South Hall Veterinary Hospital!

I am SO upset at this vet. I am new to the area from FL and got a recommendation from my breeder to use this vet. I make an appointment and they mention NOTHING about their covid policy on the phone.nnWhen I arrive with my 10 week kitten, I’m informed that they are doing curbside service only and I cannot go in with her. I hand them my kitten (against my better judgement) and they came back 10 min later and had given her all these shots.nnThe shots were never discussed with us ahead of time and one of the shots they gave - the FeLv - was highly recommended AGAINST by my breeder as the cat is indoor only and has been proven to have negative effects in Ragdolls. It also voided the health guarantee of my kitten from my breeder.nnWhen I expressed how upset I was at the vet and how I had specifically given them paperwork saying to NOT give this shot, they said the vet was too busy to talk to me now but assured me they would call this afternoon.nnIt’s been 12 hours and nothing. My kitten also isn’t eating since the shot, which is rare as she’s always hungry at dinner time.nnReally wish there had been better communication and follow up after, as promised ud83dude21nnEdited on 11/11: I noticed on my paperwork the vet had marked off that the kitten had gotten her 12 week shots instead of the 10 week shots I had taken her to get. The vet Susan comes on the phone and told me it was the 10 week shots she had gotten and they marked it down on my paperwork wrong. She then proceed to ask me to retract my review as she stated she had tried calling both my husband and I on 10/31 to explain why she gave our kitten the felv shot without permission. I told her neither one of us received missed phone calls or a voicemail from her as indicated and I did look up my phone records to see if she called. It showed no missed calls from the vet.nnShe said that if I didn’t take back my review, she was dismissing me as a client and she’d dispute the review. I stood firm stating that everything I am saying was valid and I would never take my cat back there again anyway. But unbelievable to feel like I was being blackmailed to remove my review and when I said no, she said to find another vet.nnDo not use this vet!
