Yesterday we had to put our Golden retriever down and Dr. Rice did it in our car so we could be with her. He was compassionate, sensitive, and calming. He spaced the two injections out so we could love on her till she got sleepy enough for the last injection. He had taken care of her before she got lymphoma, always excellent care. Highly recommend.
By far the best vet I have ever been to. They saved my female boxers life a couple of years ago over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Then took another fur baby for a dental cleaning. I know everyone says their vet is the best, but I will make the drive from Lexington to Harrison Co anytime. Everyone is extremely friendly and care deeply about their patients. Can't recommend them enough. Trust me, they are like family. Thanks again for everything!
My 6 month old german shepherd absolutely loves Dr.Rice! The staff is wonderful, pleasant, easy to work with and talk to. I got my puppy fixed there today and they took such amazing care of him and he came out of the vet's office so happy despite having just undergone surgery. They love their people and their pets! Best veterinary care I've ever found for my pup! If you're looking for a more personable veterinarian then you've found them! Thanks so much for making my dogs health and experience your priority everytime you see him!

Harrison Vet Clinic is our vet of choice here in Cynthiana. They are always courteous and understanding. We own Great Danes and the doctors are experienced with this extra large breed and handle them expertly. This is so hard to find and I'm grateful to the vets there. I highly recommend Harrison Vet Clinic, although they are pricey, it's well worth it.
